Simpang Asia is a hidden gem located in a small shopping center with ample parking. We came in on a weeknight and were seated right away. The restaurant has a great ambiance and the staff was extremely welcoming. Since it was our first time trying Indonesian food we decided to order one of the most popular dishes, the Mie Tek Tek noodles. While the Mie Tek Tek noodles may look like other South Asian noodle dishes, the flavors made this dish really unique and unlike anything we have tried before. You're able to customize the level of spice which is great since the noodles do have some heat! Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious and enjoyable our meal was. I will definitely be back!

My favorite Togo Asian spot is on the west side. I LOVE THIS SPOT. I’ve been here 10+ times and have never been a disappointment. I usually get the chicken sate, garlic seafood noodles, and their traditional curry. The staff is so nice and the place is always clean too. I love it!!!

After staying almost 2 weeks in LA, finally found the best restaurant in LA. Staffs are friendly with smile. The foods are so tasty and delicious.. must try the Nasi Uduk with fried chicken, and the Grilled Chicken, best ?. The place is not huge, but big enough for 30 people and very clean. Overall, i love this place and hope i can come back to enjoy it again ? Thank you!

Don’t let the strip mall throw you off - the food is good! Great and plentiful vegetarian options. I had the Goda Goda and would absolutely recommend. This place is definitely making its way into my rotation.

The food is always delicious. This has been my regular spot for a while. My only complaint: no tempeh on the menu. This I find peculiar since tempeh is traditional Indonesian food and a better meat substitute than tofu (Chinese origin).

My friend decided to take me to go try Indonesian food for the first time, and it was such a pleasant experience! If you want a taste of everything, you NEED to try the Nasi Bungkus! It was a flavor bomb! So warm and filling, I saved it as leftovers for the next morning, and I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast!

Glad to have tried this spot but it was not my favorite! I think this is a good option for Indonesian food on the westside but I can think of quite a few that I liked a lot more in the LA area. Came with some friends and we all shared the festival rice, mie tek tek, and roti paratha. Nothing was bad, but I found all the dishes to be quite standard. I thought the roti could have been flakier and the dipping sauce a hint sweeter. The mie tek tek was fine and the festival rice was good but I didn't feel like all the components had the contrast of flavors as I've had elsewhere.Overall, it was alright, but we are agreed that this is probably not a restaurant we would revisit.
