I am in the transition period from hardcore meat eater to anti-animal cruelty/environmental reason Vegan. I'm about a month in, so take my review of the food with a grain of salt. I didn't particularly like the food. I had the biscuits and gravy with spinach. It tasted like musk smells, I'll say it's "edible" but not tasty to me. Perhaps I'm still too close to my memories of meat and dairy. I also had the sticky bun and it tasted good but very dense. I think my issue there is only my transition period, I can taste the lack of dairy and eggs. Okay so that's the food now the customer service and the reason for my 1 star. It was busy but we stood there in front of the hostess for a whole 10 minutes. Not once did she acknowledge us or the long line behind us. Even busy, a hostess should acknowledge the line and say they are expecting delays. People actually pushed past me to ask questions and the hostess was visibly irritated she had to talk to people. I intentionally did not speak for 10 minutes cause I wanted to see how long it would take her to acknowledge us. I wanted to leave but the hub was trying to convince me the food was worth the poor service, he'd been there once before and he is not as bothered by poor service as I am, I'll straight avoid a place I love if the service is bad so that shows our differences. Anywho, finally I just asked if we could sit at the bar and she reluctantly told us to go ahead but stressed she was trying to find seats for people ahead of us. There was one girl waiting for her 5 friends to arrive, so I didn't believe her but we took our seats at the bar. We sat again without attention for nearly 15 minutes. Both of us switched off for bathroom breaks and it wasn't until after my trip did someone finally acknowledge us, only to tell us to scoot over one chair each. After finishing our food, it took another 10-15 minutes for me to flag someone down to ask for the check, though at least 3 people walked past us constantly. Someone had asked the barista for a seat and he snapped at him that there is a hostess that will come by eventually. Just seemed like a negative place. Vegan or not, I'll never go back.

Maybe they were having an off day, but i ended up with an absurdly overpriced mediocre at best vegan pizza with way too much gloopy cheese, an underfried artichoke, and breaded oyster mushroom crumbs which basically just tasted like fried oil--presented via quite neglectful service (of the, 'can we please have some plates and utensils to eat our food with,' and 'get a box for leftovers' for the second time, variety).

I gotta say I was disappointed in the food. It was just meh. The avocado toast was tasteless and uninspired. Coffee was good. Ambience was very nice - gorgeous place. Serve was very good. Overall not sure I'd go back.

The ambiance and concept of the place wonderful. But, I can't say the same for the taste. Still, waffle and fresh passion fruit juice were good.

Nice restaurant for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and just overall healthier options for food! I came here with my mother in law who is gluten free and between that and the vegetarians dishes I can still confirm my tastebuds didn't miss a beat. I ordered the Pad Thai and my husband had the Gnocchi. Both were really good, but I think I liked the Pad Thai just a little bit more. I don't try the pizza my mother in law ordered but it looked good too. I was also pleasantly surprised by the mushroom calamari - the texture was just like regular calamari and the taste was very flavorful and yummy. I would order it again. For dessert was got the Matcha Chocolate Cake which was like chocolate oreo with match icing on top :) Inside the place is also very cute and trendy. Perfect date spot since most of the tables are in the smaller party side. They also have a small patio out front for the nice weather days. Parking can be tricky with street meters and it can be busy on Abbot Kinney at times.

Our waitress this morning, brunette with pigtails gave lackluster service so we decided to only tip a few dollars. We paid separately, I tipped on my screen and the other person in my party did not. The waitress said "Just so you know, the tip is not included." Then walked away without making eye contact. I was so astounded at the audacity and entitlement. This restaurant has been a favorite of mine for the food and atmosphere so I brought someone from Japan to experience LA through it but what a terrible experience. So rude. I will never, ever come back.

The food is excellent but service definitely needs to be improved (seriously!) Also, the size of the cappuccino is ridiculously small.

Great spot to try unique dishes. Love the variety. My husband's dish was very good (the gnocchi) but the rest were just good. Wouldn't necessarily return here for the food, but more so for the environment and ability to try other unique food/drink options.

This restaurant says their items are gluten-free, and they absolutely are NOT. How can you lie to people who have legitimate allergies? Do not go here. They lie about their food being gluten-free, which makes me wonder if they are truly vegetarian!!

Came here at 9:35 PM tonight. Was told it was closed. Checked online and said you say open till 10. Her reply, "it's been a slow night." Great way to operate a business guys. We drove out from Downtown for this disappointment.

Love this spot! Vegetarian options, music, decor, energy and overall ambiance is a daytime brunch vibe! Service is great despite them always being insanely crowded on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm! Interior decor is amazing! So cute, country chic beach vibes. Music is on point! House dance and chill type vibe. Live female DJ is fantastic! Bar serves it all! Or sit at a table. Had the breakfast with eggs biscuit impossible meat and it was delish! Parking is always a PITA on Abbott Kinney so plan for that and especially on a weekend at dinner or lunch time.

Best lemon ricotta pancakes ever. I'd really like to come back to try other things but I still think of those pancakes
