I’ve been going here for 40 years plus.. It’s the same and greatest sandwich in Los Angeles.. Family run and operated father and son.. The tastes steak sandwich. Recently took my daughter she agreed with me..Please never change..
The good:
This is where you want to go for a cheese steak sandwich. The closest you will get to an authentic, made-in-Philadelphia, god damn amazing piece of dining experience
The bad:
Getting here, as well as parking here, is a nightmare. Get here on a motorcycle at most of something equally as nimble.
The ugly:

Growing in Venice- all my family members enjoy this place. It’s an institution for our city. The food quality is great, these old recipes stand the test of time. I miss the Old timers behind the counter. It’s a shame how the service is shawty now. Treating my wife poorly just for asking if the order was ready/ it wasn’t even busy to stress over orders on the line.
