Eddie and Maria. Phenomenal!! Solid food, and the service that Eddie brought to the table was both engaging and excellent. Food came promptly, drinks are priced reasonably, mimosa options are seasonal and fresh, no artificial here. Overall strongly recommend!!

I visited this place for brunch. They offer a diverse range of food options, including omelets, sandwiches, and Mexican-spiced dishes. I opted for the herb chicken salad, which was quite substantial in terms of quantity. However, they unfortunately ran out of veggie patties.

I love this place! It has quickly become our favorite Sunday morning spot. Our pup loves hanging out on the patio and they even bring out a treat and bowl of water for her and happily make her a bowl of scrambled eggs with cheese from the new dog menu.
Their caramel iced coffee is delicious! My favorite breakfast is currently the breakfast burrito with sausage added. The fresh fruit is always great, always fresh berries, banana and pineapple, and not just a bowl of cheap melon chunks like most places.

The Golden Egg holds special memories for me. My late husband and I had breakfast here every Saturday before we moved away. I was visiting this week and had to stop in. New ownership but still in the same family and same great service. They whole staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and prepared so fast - I love the variety of dishes. We had the chilaquiles, an omelet burrito, a chile relleno and a chorizo skillet. Everything was delicious!

Sweet little place. Super kind and friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. Old town Ventura Vibe. Lots of variety in the menu. Delicious pico de gallo.

Unfortunately the young man Jose who waited on us today gave very poor service, he took my plate away before I had finished eating, without asking and proceeded to justify it by saying he thought I’d finished, I told him I wasn’t and he maybe should of asked me first… he still insisted that he thought I was done and dismissed my frustration. He charged me extra for substituting one item on my breakfast dish without an explanation first.
These may seem minor but it gives the cafe a poor view….

Came at opening, there were already people arriving as well, staff was extremely nice 10/10 service. Was allowed to sit inside with my small dog in her bag, very happy about that.
The food itself was delicious. It looked and smelled so good. I actually forgot to take a photo of it before eating. I got the croissant sandwich and my partner got the waffles. Both items were very delicious. Price is extremely fair.
