My Mom & I want to lunch here for the first time at 11am on Saturday, April 18th, 2026. We were the first ones there, as they opened for the day. We were greeted with cheery hellos by all the Staff. Once we picked our seats inside, we were immediately brought fresh chips & salsa that was delicious. We got our drinks ordered right away - Strawberry Lemonades. Our Sever Christina was very friendly & attentive during our lunch. We ordered calm chowder & a chile relleno burrito with a side salad. The food was flavorful and we both enjoyed it. Our views were of the harbor. Overall a great lunch experience! We will definitely go back here again. 😊

PERFECT VIBE whether you’re giving out of town guests the SoCal coastal experience or a local looking to chill. Margarita Villa was love at first lunch for my husband and I, and for 20 years it’s remained our go-to for delicious food and laid back atmosphere. We used to go to Duke’s in Malibu and it’s great, but Ventura Harbor can be lunch or a whole day, with casual to formal dining options, shopping, ice cream, holding parrots and hearing awesome live music (Fri-Sun). It’s girlfriends and couples and families and dogs and everyone is always in a good mood. The service in every eatery and shop is friendly. Add a walk on the beach (fur babies welcome) to perfect the day. There’s nothing prettier than watching sailboats from the grass covered dunes. We’re too lazy to rent a paddle boat or take a cruise, but it’s fun to watch with a cocktail in hand at Margarita Villa. Prepare to be a regular, see you there!

This was my second time here. We sat outside. Took a minute for our server to help us. She was friendly and nice. Our food was good. I thought the salsa had a tad too much salt.

Went on Sunday to live band it was super and great ambience. Ordered couple of appetizers calamari and guacamole. Had no salt and both needed a little something. Drinks were okay not wowed. First drinks weee string and 2nd round were a little weaker. Service was not the greatest . Needed to get up and go to the bar to ask for a waitress and/or order a drinks. May give it another try.
