My family and I stopped in here after a island packer cruise out to Santa Cruz Island part of the channel Island national Park system. The tacos were exceptionally good. The service was great and the atmosphere and views were awesome. This is a great stop if you’re looking for some Mexican food in this area. Oh, and the margarita was fire!

Good Margaritas. The chips and salsa are definitely homemade and a great starter. Loved the Mexican enchiladas, all 3 colors had so much flavor. Also had the sopes and they did not disappoint. You can tell everything is homemade. We’ll be back!!

We visited on a friday night and there was no wait and they even had a live band playing on the outside patio. I ordered water with lemon (it is filtered and tasted good), my husband had iced tea. For our appetizer we had halibut ceviche. It came out fast and was incredibly fresh! I ordered two shrimp tacos, 1 grilled and 1 breaded. Both were really fresh and tasted amazing, but I prefer the breaded one over the grilled. My husband had the filet mignon street tacos also fresh, full of flavor and delicious. Both dishes are served with rice and beans. The cherry on top was the gorgeous sunset over the ocean! We highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

a mexican restaurant ran by white people , no wonder the food sucked .. i ordered a carne asada and the piece of meat i got smelt like bad meat ewww i took my first bite and there was no flavor ? no seasoning ? if i knew what concrete tasted like it would taste like that , it was honestly just SAD almost made me cry cause idk how anyone could mess that up so bad , but anyway i got a scoop of the rice and beans and i guess they were doable . someone else in our group ordered a meatball soup and the meatballs were still RAW in the middle .. had a pulse and everything
but basically the food here sucks don’t waste your money

Incredible place.
Taco Tuesday is great. Live music, good food and drinks….and the servers are amazing.
I flew in for training at Haas Automation from Canada, and honestly I’d skip the training just to spend my time here.
Best place in Ventura!!!!

Ordered a combo plate. The beans were watered down, spread on the plate about 1/8 inch thick, very skimpy portions, The rice had absolutely no flavor. The enchiladas were decent. The margarita was tolerable.

The service was okay, the server was nice but the food was just awful. Everything was bland. We were a small group ordered two appetizers Buffalo wings and nachos and both were really tasteless. I also had some fish and chips they tasted like old oil. I would not recommend this place to eat if you are in the area.

5 stars for location. Service was very poor. The first table we sat at the utensils was dirty. The menu had food stuck on it. We requested to be moved to the front of the establishment due to the capacity of people in the back. The kids sprite had something red floating in it. The server said it was Tajin. we did not order Tajin in the childrens drinks. We asked for no tomatoes in the kids' tacos, but hey, that was an easy fix. When our food arrived, it was cold. Im not sure about revisiting the establishment.

Absolutely loved Margarita Villa at Ventura Harbor. My sun and I ordered the Vegan Bowl. He is on the Aut spectrum and he only eats fresh natural foods minimally processed. They were very accommodating when we requested a few substitutions to fit our dietary needs. We had never been there before. We went with some friends. I made it a point to call the day before to make sure they could prepare our lunch to our specifications. My sun was so inspired that he went home and created his own version of the Vegan Bowl?
