Had an excellent breakfast here when staying in Ventura for a few days. Some kind of pepper jam and cream cheese toast? Highly recommend! Cute funky spot with good ambiance to work for a while.
Love their food selections its nice . I highly recommend their juices and sandwiches. Their plates were very good. Although last time I went my French toast tasted like onions for that price I wasn't happy. The food tastes better when the female cooks are there. Out of the four of 5 times I've been there the male cook made our sandwich's oily and soggy then after the French toast tasted onion like. Never would I guess I would enjoy something called "PB&J Oatmeal" - but this dish at Midtown Cafe is excellent. The coffee is good, but the food is the highlight. Small and relaxing spot.
