This restaurant is on the corner of the parking lot and the harbor. Opt for the harbor side. You can see sea lions as you eat! The fish and chips were amazing, the shrimp tacos were good and filling, the kids meals are huge! The chowder cup comes with a half boule of sourdough! Dogs are permitted on the patio.

Easy going counter service place to chow-down while overlooking the marina. Great place for couples and kids. I'm a big fan of their sesame seed salmon salad. Tastes great and a decent but not too large serving size. Yum.

Greasy!! So disappointed with the fried shrimp and fish. Been going here for some time now but something with the cooking staff must’ve changed. Unacceptable. Unfortunately I ordered to go otherwise I would have returned my order.

On the alley looks like your typical run of the mill beachside tourist eatery. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. The staff was friendly and took orders quickly. It was Sunday at 2pm and not busy at all. The tables were clean and kept up. We ordered one fish taco, one shrimp taco, a chicken sandwich with fries and two beers. We sat down to enjoy the view of the marina and waited... and waited... and waited... a total of 40 minutes for our food to arrive! It was dropped off without much interaction, or a "hey sorry it took so long" or if we needed anything else. The food was average and lacking any real flavor or "wow" factor which was odd given the tacos did have some kind of sauce on them. The chicken sandwich was very oily and also lacked flavor. Fries were tasty. I wouldn't return to this establishment and would much rather try a new place even if it means driving out of the marina.

Looking for a lovely lunch spot on a mellow Friday afternoon then head over the Ventura Harbor Village and stop in at On The Allley or OTA for the grinds and vibes. The location is large with lots of indoor seating and and outside patio along with a covered patio ish area with beautiful views! You order at the counter find a space and have a seat the food will be brought to ya. The alley burger was massive and I added an extra patty hahah one was ample two was nap worthy but oh so delicious. With lettuce tomato onion and mayo it's a classic burger turned up! The crispy chicken sandwich was delicious as well crispy with a nice spread on the bun to pair well with the crispy chicken. The sandwiches come with some great home made potato chips add some malt vinegar and salt on em and they are fire! The wife got tots on the side and they were fried perfectly with a solid crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. If you like ranch their house made ranch was amazing with fresh dill in it a perfect combo to dip the tots or the chicken sando in!

Love this place! The food is excellent, the staff are super cool and very nice. Great atmosphere with a very nice view of the harbor. Recommend!Parking: This is a pretty busy location particularly on weekends. Parking is hit or miss, you may end up walking a bit. But that’s fine because it’s a beautiful location with perfect weather year round!

Stopped by on a foggy evening for a fish taco and was greeted with friendly service and a warm delicious meal. The staff was very attentive and checked to make sure I received my cole slaw and asked to see if a heater was needed. And the dining view of harbor cannot be beat.

Paid $14 for a margarita that was pre-maid and would have been better out if a can. Had the fish and chips and was a solid portion and very good. Coleslaw was a little on the bland side but fish was very well seasoned. Service was ok but more of a order and drop off type of place. Location and water front views can't be beat
