I've been coming here since I was a kid. Chocolate bar with nuts remains my "go to" - I've never found it anywhere else. This place remains a staple on the Ave. Parking can be a pain, but just drive around the block, and someone has left by that time ;)
This is a great donut stand. I always judge a doughnut shop by how fresh their ingredients are and how much filling they put in the custards and jellies. Russell's Donuts does NOT disappoint. That is an unedited picture of my wife enjoying one of their Chocolate Custards. They're huge! I say check em out!
Just tried Russel's for the first time. Wow!The buttermilk and apple fritter were the best I've ever had.Fritter was perfectly crisp on the outside yet moist and full of apple and cinnamon flavors on the inside. The buttermilk was exactly what you'd want it to be.Combine that with great customer service and you gotta try this place out!
