We went as a family to celebrate my husband's birthday. As an appetizer we ordered some fish cracklings that were delicious and some shrimp empanadas that, for my taste, didn't have as much flavor but my children liked them. My daughter ordered a fried mojarra, my son ordered octopus with garlic mojo and a molcajete for my husband. We had a craving for seafood one hot spring day. We decided to try out Las Islas Marias. We had a Paella, Shrimp Empanadas, and Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. The food all looked delicious, but it lacks flavor. When these dishes are averaging more than $20 a plate, you expect flavor. The ceviche had too much lime and pepper.
