The last time I was at the HomeTown Buffet, I saw a gentleman wearing a shirt that said 'I get enough exercise pushing my luck'. That about says it. When we've had a rough day of digging ditches or putting up fences, that is, hard labor.. we sometimes go here and load up on carbs. I don't think it's meant to be a place that you eat at every day, however.
First time I ever ate there. My experience was that the waitress was fast friendly, courteous towards my family and I. As for the meals there was a large selection to choose from and plenty of desserts. This made it easy to choose from and you have the control of the amount you would like. I highly recommend HomeTown Buffet for everyone it has a pleasant atmosphere.
Normally we love eating here. Our experience on New Year's Eve wasn't very good. The (clean) plates were covered in dried on food and the food wasn't very good. I spoke to the manager about the plates and he explained the dishwasher wasn't working and they were waiting for someone to come fix it. I understand things happen but how hard is it to check the plates before you put them out. He didn't seem concerned. He took the plates I had and walked away...
