These guys are amazing! I needed a new battery and I couldn't find anyone to install it but these guys came to my rescue! I was able to buy a battery from Napa across the street and those guys recommended and even called to see if they were able to install it for me and they did!!! Took less than 15 mins to jump my car from the Napa parking lot and drive it across the street to install! The gentleman even carried my old battery over to Napa for my refund! Thank you so much helping me get back on the road! I will be back for any car needs and recommend this place to everyone!

My car's AC went out for a while and I'm new to the area so I was skeptical about going to any auto shop. Read their reviews and it's very encouraging. Brought my car in and dropped it off for diagnosing. Got a call a few hours later that the AC fixed for a very fair price. The front desk was knowledgeable and friendly. That's it - they got a new customer and I got a new home-mechanic that I can trust. Will recommend to my friends and family.

Took my vehicle to Pepe's Auto & Air for AC that wasn't working. They quoted me the estimated repair cost and within 2 hours my vehicle's AC was working like new again. I previously took the vehicle to Firestone. And they could not fix it. I took to the Tulare Ford dealership. They could not fix it. Thank you Patty for the excellent customer service.

I am not tech savvy and need help with my car. Jeff and his crew are the best and have taken care of my old Toyota for many years. Jeff goes the extra mile and is this lady's life-saver. I had a fatal 'check engine light' code and my mechanic friends couldn't find or fix the problem. Finally, I found Peps's and Jeff helped me limp through Smog and DMV registration. Two years later, the code was even worse and I still needed new smog to register. Jeff looked and looked, smoked it and tested it (for one fee and he kept me informed every step of the way!) Jeff worked hard, never giving up and giving me time to drive and test the car and CE light, keeping me informed but not wasting my time at all. He finally diagnosed problem to a small seal under the gas tank. Parts aren't available for my car any longer and ordering the new part took a couple extra days, but the new seal and two tank replacements later -- delays because of parts ordering, not Pepe's labor -- But they've fixed my little car 100%! Jeff didn't give up on my old car but kept me informed every step of the way. The check engine light has been stably off for months and months. Car runs and self-tunes like a top as always. This was not a super fast job, but customer consideration and service never faltered a bit! I would never go anywhere else than Pepe's and strongly recommend their service. I may have to move out of Calif because I will NOT go into an electric car from my beautiful frugal little Toyota -- with Pepe's saving the day whenever I need it.

Took my car to Pepe's after a mobile mechanic was paid to replace the timing belt and water pump and it still wouldn't start ( he had it 3 months). Jeff did the diagnostic within an hour of me dropping it off then called and explained issue and I had my car the next day. They will be the only place I go now. Great customer service from Patty also. Thank you Jeff and Patty for working with me after what I went through with the so called mobile mechanic. Thanks Jeff for tips before I went to get it smogged. Jeff & Patty you are the BEST!

My father is 83 years old and wasn't able to change his brake pads. He made an appointment and took his car to Pepe's Automotive. My father was very pleased with the work that was done. He said they were professional, and friendly.

I almost hit the car that darted into my lane then hit his brakes I applied my brakes and heard a clank I had tore the pad off my left front brake Jeff at Pepe's auto and air had both rotors and brakes done in less than an hour Pepe's auto and air delivers great service and a comfortable waiting Area Thanks again Pepe's auto and air

With all the good reviews I read on here, I decided to take my car in for an oil leak check and timing belt replacement. Service was fast. It took about 30-45 minutes. Right when I got my car back, I drove my car on the freeway to my dentist appointment and I heard a noise coming from the passenger side. It sounded like it was scraping something. Next thing I know, the fender liner on the passenger side came off as I was about to exit off the freeway. I went around to pick up the fender liner and put it in my trunk. After my dentist appointment, I gave Pepe's auto a call back and all they said was they don't fix those things and that I should take it elsewhere. They didn't even apologized for anything. I'm just disappointed in them and their quality of service. I just know I'm not coming back here again.
A small repair shop but nice n honest n price is reasonable n excellent job on my SUV Jeff the owner is friendly n explains what's the problem but I have to ask many questions my previous mechanic was shady charges unnecessarily repairs I live out of town n had to wait at the small waiting room but Patty the secretary is nice n accommodating at one visit I had to be there almost the whole day n had to come back bec check engine light won't go off n won't pass smog but this time I'm hopeful they nailed the problem I will recommend this place if u need nice n honest n affordable repair shop

I was traveling with family from San diego when I ended up having issues with my car. I know they were so busy, but they were able to squeeze me in just so I could continue with my trip. The price is reasonable and it was done efficiently. I never felt like they took advantage of me because I have no choice but to get it fix. I found then on Yelp!

What a great experience! Mr. Pepe and his receptionist treated me so professionally. Other mechanics worked on my cars air conditioner some quotes were astronomical, Pepe fixed it within 3 hours surprisingly 1/4 of the cost. Thank you To Sr. Pepe and his team.

After being told my car needed a condenser and compressor by someone's else. I Googled and found Pepe's. So they called me back and said car was ready that it only needed to be serviced. I switched vehicles with them to fix the ck engine light and a few other things on my suburban. Again I got it back fixed, price was right and the owner of the shop explaining the repairs to you. What they didn't know is I had 24 years experience in the auto dealer service dept. With 20 of those as a service adviser. They did everything the right way from the lady that checks you how the owner runs his shop. The only downfall is parking but I would highly recommend Pepe's.
