I can’t express how great the staff and beer selection are everybody’s friendly, they have an amazing golf simulator and all the beers are delicious. They don’t have food, but they offer menus from the restaurants all directly around them that you can order and have the food delivered to you.

One of the absolute coolest breweries and live music venues I’ve ever been to, the manager was so accommodating and friendly, the popcorn was great. The food was great. Everything was very clean and we absolutely loved performing here and can’t wait to return even if it’s just for a couple beers. Cheers we love you.

I was on my way here with a group of friends but it was a terrible atmosphere for downtown Vista. Went to Burger Bench and Inzane Brewing instead and had a great time.

This place has an excellent selection of beers, offering something for every taste. The live music adds an incredible vibe and makes the experience even more enjoyable. TVs are placed all around, making it the perfect spot to catch a game from any seat. They also offer a private section, which is great for a more intimate or exclusive setting. A special shoutout to Natasha, one of the bartenders she’s incredibly fun, cheerful, and truly elevates the atmosphere. She’s a real asset to the team and makes every visit even better. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Great place with Live Music! You can bring the entire family and enjoy yourself with great spirits, sports and great service. You can also order food from any restaurant and bring it in or have it delivered. And handles ice cream is right across the street!

I was here last week visiting from northern CA. Part of my husbands job is in Vista so we come down every few months and I’m always looking for a place to waste time while he’s in meetings. So…this place SUCKS! Really it’s just the service, everything else is like meh ok, but good lord they were so rude. The person who served me was named Natasha. Natasha shouldn’t be in customer service. I’ve never had anyone make me feel bad for trying to give them my business! Like I’m inconveniencing her by ordering. I hope the owners see this and make a change.

I love this place! It has become my favorite spot on Wednesday nights because of the open mic night. There is a wonderful community of musicians and patrons that have become regulars, because we are all made to feel very comfortable here. Natasha has been an incredible support, whether through her encouragement of our weekly event or service at the bar. I appreciate that she makes herself part of our crew and even joins in with our monthly potluck by adding something to the table--it really feels like family!
While their beer selection is vast and varied, not being a beer girl myself, I appreciate that they serve more than just beer--there's an excellent selection of nonalcoholic drinks, and several choices for wine, hard kombucha, yerba mate, and cider as well.
I also love that there is a large room attached that can easily be made private for special events and celebrations. I already know two events I will be celebrating there in the near future because I can't think of a better place, with better service, that has welcomed and supported their customers and our local musicians in such a heart-felt way.

Unfortunately, this place didn’t live up to the hype. There was a roach in bathroom (gross much?) Service was slow, even though it wasn’t very busy, and the the staff seemed avoidant rather than attentive.
My drink was underwhelming—especially for the price, and the menu lacked the kind of quality or creativity you’d expect from a spot trying to position itself as a “go-to hangout”…

New Management, New Low
This place used to be the spot—killer beer selection, solid food, and live music that gave the whole place real energy. Fast-forward to today under the new management, and it feels like they’re actively trying to ruin everything that made it great.
The beer list? Barely recognizable. What used to be a rotating selection of local gems is now a sad lineup of whatever’s cheapest to order in bulk. Half the taps are out, the pours are lazy, and don’t even get me started on the temperature—it’s like they’re serving beer straight out of a sunlit storage room.
As for the live music? It’s mid at best! Unfortunately, it’s due to the crappy set up of everything. The whole vibe is flat, sterile, and soulless.
It’s clear the new management doesn’t care about regulars, quality, or atmosphere. Just cutting corners and coasting on what used to be a good reputation. Honestly, it’s insulting.
If you loved this place before, prepare to be heartbroken. It’s not the pour house it once was—it’s just a poor excuse now.

Warning: This place has gone downhill!
I used to be a regular at this bar, but I can no longer recommend it. The whole vibe has changed, and not for the better. First off, the place feels shady, with questionable business practices happening behind the scenes. If you’re looking for a clean and safe place to hang out, look elsewhere. It’s really disappointing to see what this bar is turning into.
New name suggestion for this place:
“”LAME STREET POUR HOUSE”

I used to enjoy this place all the time. It was a great place to watch football and the staff was phenomenal. THAT was when it was Barrel and Stave. When it became Main Street Pourhouse, and new management took over, this establishment started to lose its luster. It was hard to tell what events were happening, events were double booked like live music during football games, and all around the vibes of the place became off. Natasha really managed this place to the ground. Just hoping whoever comes next can actually maintain this place since it is in a prime location to be great.
