El Rinconcito Fine Mexican and Seafood

I go to the nail salon in the same shopping center and always see people going to this restaurant, so I thought it would be good. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.
The place was very dirty. The windows and blinds were filthy, which immediately gave a bad impression. I was given a dried up lime. It was around noon when I visited, and the only people there appeared to be intoxicated, making the atmosphere uncomfortable.
The food was okay, but nothing spectacular. Considering the quality, the prices were much higher than expected—$25 for a shrimp cocktail was excessive for what was served.
Overall, I was disappointed and will not be returning.

It's a great place in Vista, California, where you can enjoy Mexican food in a unique atmosphere with karaoke and live Mexican music.

I have gone I couple times to this place and it was ok with the food tasting nice warm and everything but this day I went there the guy that took my order looked acted like a jerk and when I got my order the meat was bland kinda cold like if somebody left it and they just give it to me. I really don’t like doing this but this time it was too far I paid almost 24 dollars for a carne asada plate and it was not pleasant, never again and I think it’s not sanitary to give someone their food not heated at the right temperature.

I was there with a large group of ladies and they took care of us all exceptionally! ( they did know in advance we were coming ) Angelica our server was phenomenal. Not just good at her job, but very kind too. It happened to be karaoke night so it was a little loud but the vibe was still so friendly and welcoming. Oh and they had $5 40s which was awesome!!!

I tried this family owned restaurant for the first time today, and wow DELICIOUS. I had the verde enchiladas, and they were hands down the best I’ve ever had. So much flavor in every bite. I’m super picky about beans, and theirs definitely get my stamp of approval. The rice was also delicious, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. As you can see my practically finished plate, the left over was left over tortillas but I was full from eating every last bite lol

I don’t live in the area, but I would honestly drive an hour just to have that meal again. A true hidden gem
