One of the biggest perks for me is free delivery to San Diego (I live in San Diego, so this was a huge win). I also really love their loyalty rewards program, every week you stay on as a customer, they give you something free. For my second week, I received 5 free green juices, which was such a nice surprise and made me feel appreciated as a customer.
Their customer service is solid and very responsive. I had a minor issue with my order and simply texted them, they took care of it right away, no hassle at all.
The weekly meal selection has a lot of variety, with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a new menu to choose from each week so it doesn’t feel repetitive. Overall, this service has made eating healthy incredibly easy and convenient.
As for cons: sometimes the communication feels a bit excessive, the multiple texts and emails can be a little much. Also, after the initial intro offer, it can get a bit pricey.
That said, the quality, convenience, and service have made it worth it for me. If you’re looking for a reliable meal prep service with great variety and customer care, this is a strong option.

If you are in the Southern California area I would 100% recommend trying them out if not for the delicious meals for the time it saves cooking and shopping!

Quality has noticeably declined over the past several months. Deliveries now take all day, and by the time the food arrives the ice pack has melted and the meals are no longer cold. This place used to be great, which makes this especially disappointing. It feels like they scaled too quickly and quality suffered as a result. Sad to see, as they were once one of the better smaller players in the space.

Disorganized handling of new account relationships and logistics. Misinformed agents led me to wasting money on items I never ordered and the staff/mgr? only reaching back out to me after I complained --though their resolution was to inform me of their process and blame the customer for what their agents originally informed me.
1) Ordered 12/2 and selected 12/14 delivery. 2) Received multiple automated email notifications about delivery after placing order 3) I called in and asked the staff hey it says delivery 12/7 but I selected 12/14 for these items. Is that fine? Agent says disregard the dates he sees 12/14 delivery on his end and no changes or further action needed on my end. 4) I receive like 4 texts and emails again on 12/7 for ghost delivery. I called to confirm it's still good for 12/14 they said yes nothing needed to do on my end. 5) delivery of 15 random high fat meals I can't even eat, not remotely close to the items I selected, definitely randomized . 6) I complained and you keep closing tickets as resolved. I get it I overlooked the process you change your menu weekly, but I figured being told twice no further action needed for 12/14 literally meant no further action needed therefor I'm not going to continue to try navigating through your buggy app and random dates unrelated to my order such as Aug 21, 2025 on my history.
Don't know what's worse, the customer service misinformation and lack of depth in their responses or the poor app dev and website nav and automation errors . Steer clear if you have a strict nutrition coach because this company holds no accountability to themselves . Oh well lol.

Just started a couple weeks ago from the Black Friday new customer sale. So far, I am impressed with the customer service, tastefulness of the food, and reliability of the delivery service!
They print the macros on each of the boxes too, which you can put straight into MyFitnessPal or whatever tracking app you use!
Now honestly, I don’t think $12-13 per meal is worth paying for 10 meals EVERY single week…. But it’s really helpful when I anticipate a busy week ahead. You always press pause on weeks when you want to save.
I highly suggest contacting them via email for inquiries, rather than Instagram DM.

the last two weeks I had to throw away half of the food I ordered I assume they have different people cooking each week, all the sweet dishes such a teryaki had too much sugar, more than usually needed, no consistency on quality of food, very disappointing

I am so glad I found Meal Prep Sunday! I am a busy mom of 4 with two very sedentary jobs which caused me to gain weight and left me unmotivated to work out. I just recently started making lifestyle changes including eating healthier and exercising and these meals have been a game changer for me! The food so delicious and tastes like home cooking. They are also so flavorful, which is something that has lacked with other services I've tried. I don't have to worry about skipping breakfast because I'm too busy since all I have to do is heat up my meal and its ready just like that. Their chorizo and egg breakfast tacos are to die for and I love not having to make separate meals for myself!
I've never been one to drink juice but I tried their juices from a reward I received and they are so good that I added 5 to my next subscription. No clean up...I love it!

I’ve tried a lot of meal prep places diets including shakes and intermittent dieting, but this one has honestly been the easiest for me to stick with. I’ve had SO many meals I loved from my selection. The pecan pie pancake, the chicken & chorizo tacos and the chicken biriyani were my favorites. It was such a good comfort-meal moment without wrecking my calories for the day. Their pressed juices are also surprisingly good. I usually brace myself for healthy juice taste, but these were actually delicious and something I’d grab even on their own. I’ve also been taking the AM/PM supplements they offer, and they’ve helped me stay consistent. The AM supplements give a clean boost, nothing crazy, just enough to feel awake, focused, and not dragging through the day. And the PM ones help wind me down so I actually sleep and recover instead of staring at the ceiling. Together, they just make staying on track feel a lot easier. Overall, the food, portions, and convenience have really helped me keep my nutrition in check without feeling like I’m dieting. Definitely recommend.

The customer service has been awful. gave them another try after a couple years due to finding hair in my meal and this time around was no better. Do not recommend and would never use this company again

The food is awful, and the service is even worse. After my first delivery, I tried to cancel my account but found out I could only skip deliveries, not actually cancel. I contacted customer support, explained the issue, and was assured that my account was fully canceled.
A few weeks later, I see another charge on my card. When I reached out again, support refused to help and claimed they could only cancel my account if I paid a cancellation fee even though their own representative told me it was already closed.
This company is dishonest and irresponsible. I’ll be reporting them to the BBB and disputing the charge through Amex.

Meal prep sundays is delicious, I don't know how they come up with these recipes but they are so good. We do it because we just want more time to relax after work vs cooking for 1-2 hrs after being so tired from work. Had one issue in the beginning but they solved it and compensated me a free meal for the issue. 80% of their food are amazing, 20% is okay. Overall, they save me so much time and the food is good!

It has been worth every penny to have someone curate and craft meals I love that are cost effective and hit all my protein/ calorie needs. - no dishes / cooking - no groceries wasted - more time for myself instead of stressing on groceries, planning meals, cooking, cleaning pans and weighing food / calories hoping to hit the macros I need or want
Out of all the things l've spent on, I would say meal prep service is by far one of the best for me. The first discount alone is worth over 60 percent and I had 3-4$ meals to try which was amazing. They offer other discounts after that as well, and I will continue to keep purchasing. PS I am obsessed w their pancakes every morning.
