I recently started MPS during the chaotic month leading up to my wedding and have been really pleased with it. The food is fresher and higher quality than other meal services I've tried in the past and the options weekly cover different macro needs and food preferences. The website is a little complex but eventually you can always figure out where to go to adjust delivery or plan selection which is a really nice option to have as well.

I’ve been using this meal prep service since October 2024 and love it! The meals are fresh, tasty, and super diverse, plus the sauces are actually really good. It’s super flexible (you can choose how many meals you want), and the customer service team always checks in and follows up. There’s a great discount program too, so you save money if you stick with it for a few weeks. It’s made eating healthier way easier for me. highly recommend!

Excellent . I've tried all the meal prep services . Hands down variety and flavor is why you want to come here. Other meal preps are very bland typically chicken and veggies . Some have too high of calories . This has many flavor options and calories are too high. The juice shots are a great supplement to help you reach your goals . No complaints excellent quality

My husband and I love MPS! We’ve tried every meal service under the sun, but this one has been the best by far. The menu is great and the portions are huge!

Meal Prep Sunday Service makes eating healthy so much easier! Everything is fresh, portioned, and actually tastes amazing. The menu changes keep it exciting, and pickup is quick and convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking to save time and eat well. Busy parents can attest to this. Been using them for a few weeks now and we’re already feeling a difference on week 2!

While the food is good, I tried to cancel the service multiple times, and even though their website stated service was canceled and I received a confirmation text stating it was, They still continue to charge me and deliver food. I reached out to customer service and never got a response and had to go through my bank in order to stop them from pulling money from my account. Their Website only allows you to contact through email and they will never respond to you in which their response is to submit a ticket that they won’t respond as stated in this post

I don't usually write reviews, but for Meal Prep Sunday Meals, I HAD to make an exception. I've tried various meal prep services before, but none, and I mean NONE, come even close to how incredibly good these truly are. From the very first bite, I was completely amazed. **EVERYTHING was amazing tasting!** Seriously, every single dish I tried was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and tasted incredibly fresh, like it had just been cooked in a high-end restaurant. The quality of the ingredients is evident, and the chefs clearly know what they're doing. It's not just "good for meal prep" – it's genuinely delicious food, period. The convenience factor is obviously huge, saving me so much time and stress during the week, but the taste is what truly sets them apart. I'm talking restaurant-quality meals delivered right to your door, ready to heat and enjoy. No more bland, repetitive meal prep! If you're on the fence, or if you've been disappointed by other services, do yourself a massive favor and try Meal Prep Sunday Meals. They are **VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED**. You won't regret it – your taste buds will thank you! This is my new go-to for healthy, incredibly delicious, and convenient eating. Five stars across the board!

I gave this meal service a try and had a great experience. The Piña Colada Pancakes were a standout — tropical, fluffy, and really unique. The Stroganoff Meatballs were flavorful and filling, definitely one of my top picks. The meals came packaged well, were easy to store, and tasted freshly made. Customer service was also responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

I’ve tried several meal delivery services like Factor and Cook Unity, and I have to say Meal Prep Sunday stands out, especially when it comes to quality. The meals feel homemade and fresh, and I love that they’re locally made right here in San Diego. The intro price is great (around $5 per meal), and while it jumps up to about $13 after that, the value and taste are still worth it to me. I also really appreciate their sustainability aspect, they let you leave your previous week’s cooler bag and freezer pack out for pickup, which means less waste. My only gripe is the website...it’s not super user-friendly and can be a little frustrating to navigate. Also, the emails and texts are a bit much; it feels a little pushy at times. That said, the optional fitness app is a fun bonus and the food choices are consistently great. If you’re looking for a locally made, tasty meal prep option, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try.

This company's customer service is a complete joke. They're more than happy to take your money, but the second there's a problem, they vanish. My entire order was stolen, and despite me providing all the details and proof, they repeatedly ignored my requests for a refund, deflecting every attempt I made to get a resolution. It's not a matter of a lost package; they knew I never received my order and still chose to do nothing. Their refusal to take responsibility and their blatant lack of integrity is stunning. I'm not playing their games. I've already filed a chargeback with my credit card company. Save yourself the headache and the stolen money. This company is trash. Avoid. They worry more about stupid marketing low budget trashy ads instead of making things right for customers. Try factor it’s way better and they don’t want $750/mo for tiny nasty meals.

They delete the critical comments made under their ads on social media. After the first order, the meal cost increases 4 times. They are trying to hide it

I’ve been using Meal Prep Sunday San Diego for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s been a pretty solid experience. The meals are advertised as macro-calculated, though it’s not entirely clear whether they’re tailored to individual macro needs—something I wish was more transparent or customizable. They have you put in your goals and they calculate macros based off that. The meals have macros but I can’t customize my portion to have less fat to fit My daily macros. They also have a fitness app that you can log these meals and others to track macros. The macros are not synced to the ones given on the website. So if you are like me and track your macros this feature isn’t useable. Still, the meals themselves are delicious. I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the ingredients, the flavor, and how well everything reheats without losing taste or texture. The variety is great, and I also really enjoy their juicing options and the compressed juice shots—they’re a nice bonus.

That said, there are a few drawbacks. The biggest issue for me has been the pricing. Their ads and even the packaging prominently display a $4.90 per meal price, but that’s just an initial promotion. After the first week, the price jumps to $12.80 per meal—even with a 15-meal order(their biggest option)—which felt misleading. Transparency on pricing would go a long way. Twice out of the four weeks they have delivered our food to another address. One time they realized and the second when they sent me the photo of the delivery I realized it wasn’t our front door and was able to grab the food before someone else took it. They did offer to get it but I was able to grab it since it was close.

The website is not the most user-friendly—I’ve had instances where items were duplicated in my cart, and editing orders can be challenging. Plus, even though I’m already subscribed, I still get repeated messages asking if I’m going to try the service, which is a bit annoying. (I even got one at midnight which I addressed) they also offer rewards and loyalty discounts one being free shots. It says you can redeem this until Wednesday at 12pm but that is not true. Often times the website glitches and you can’t redeem. I reached out to customer service to redeem it and they were unable to add it even though it was well before the time frame cutoff due to my account being charged for the upcoming week(even though this loyalty discount is no charge they apparently can’t add it if you have been charged) which makes no sense to me at all.

Overall, I would recommend Meal Prep Sunday SD for the taste, convenience, and ingredient quality. They seem to be invested in providing the best service working with retaining their clients and the best ingredients. But if you’re budget-conscious or looking for a seamless digital experience, you might find those aspects a bit frustrating. $768/month for a single person 3 meals a day fives days a week Is a little out of my budget.

Absolutely shady business practices. The meals are bland and you get an occasional 1-2 good meals.

If you redeem a promo that they offer, you won’t be able to cancel the promo the following week and they will charge you full price. Literally no way to cancel and customer service is the worst. I had to contact them every week to basically make sure I WASN'T being over charged.

Save yourself a headache and don’t deal with them. I tried to cancel and they charged me 20% fee for cancelling 2 hours late when their website wasn’t allowing me to log in. Extremely shady business.

So far this service has been great! The meals have a great variety and the macros are perfect for my goals. The meals taste great and are ready in less than 3 minutes.

Kyle Farley

Great flavor and variety. I get to pick which meals I receive for the following week. The surf and turf is my fav right now. I really appreciate that they pick up the delivery bags and ice packs that were used for the previous order. I’ve tried other companies with bland flavors and high fat content that left you with huge boxes and packaging to toss out, very wasteful. Overall, Meal Prep Sunday has amazing food and portions for my goals with the added benefit of being environmentally conscious.
