I've been eating at Mikko sushi in Vista since they opened in March 2018. This restaurant is a hidden gem for sushi! They serve the best sushi in San Diego. The fish is always fresh and of the highest quality. All the servers are always friendly and attentive to your needs. Crystal waits on us most of the time and she is amazing! Always friendly and very personable. I can't say enough about this restaurant and highly recommend it to any sushi connoisseur!

Mikko Sushi is one of my favorite restaurants in North County San Diego. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and have consistently had fantastic experiences.
They serve some of the freshest fish for sushi and rolls, and everything is always high quality. The spicy seafood ramen is a must on rainy days, and their Kamas are absolutely perfect.
Crystal, the manager, truly knows what she’s doing and always goes above and beyond to make each visit exceptional.
I’ve ordered many items from the menu and have never once left disappointed. Lastly, one of their desserts, the tempura ice cream, is an absolute must.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves Japanese food!

Absolutely love this Japanese restaurant! The tonkotsu ramen is rich, creamy, and full of deep flavor—comfort food at its best. The yellowtail roll is incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced, easily one of the highlights of the meal.
Shout-out to Allii, my favorite server—she’s always so friendly, gets the orders right every time, and has the best recommendations. If you’re there, definitely ask her about the roll she invented… it’s a must-try!

Always our favorite place to stop for lunch when in Vista. We have yet to have anything that we didn't like and the service is always super friendly. Bring a sweater if you run cold....its usually pretty chilly in the restaurant.

I eat here at least once a month..for the past three years and still enjoy discovering new things on their menu and being blown away by it. Highly recommend. Excellent no fuss ambiance and even more excellent food. Prices have gone up significantly over the last two years though so its not easy on the wallet anymore.
