We have our own locally owned European bakery shop right here in Walnut Creek near Kirker Pass to Clayton. Citrus / Oak Grove is the intersection.

I love that they serve Lavazza coffee, real European coffee, and that the pastries are not too sweet, just like in a real bakery in my hometown where I grew up.

My favorite pastries are the poppy seed filled ones (mákos we called it where I grew up in Hungary), and they have poppy seed filled pastries available for sale on most days here.

Every time i go here i get surprised by how good their pastries are. Every bite is amazing. I recently went to Europe (France & Italy) hoping to get better items and it doesn't come close. This family owned business in walnut creek’s deserve all the customers that want pastries. Their ambience is very clean and their customer service is always so kind. Stop by and check them out your self !

European Delight Cafe is a fantastic spot, conveniently located in a plaza with plenty of free parking and a Tesla supercharger. Their coffee is delicious, with great dairy-free milk options, and they offer a wide variety of freshly baked pastries. I tried the gluten-free mango muffin and almond cookies—both were fresh and absolutely delicious! The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a treat. Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten & dairy free options are available

The atmosphere is not cozy - the food was average at best. Service was not friendly and abrupt. The music choice was horrible.

The savory spinach and cheese pastry was scrumptious. The chocolate croissants and blueberry scones are delicious! This bakery is a gem.

The pastries were amazing. As with nearly all European pastries they were less sweet than American versions. Excellent service and friendly staff. Fantastic experience.

It’s a relative with decent bakery. Always was on my bucket list to go to. Finally made it and slightly disappointed with the bakery selection and coffee, coffee strength and quality.
Very clean and comfortable environment. Everything looked very neat inside. The owner takes pride in his place! Nice wall arts and greenery inside of the shop. Some dishes might be delicious. However, I picked the cinnamon swirl and it turned out to be a little bit sugary. My wife’s gone on the other hand was relatively tasty. The coffee was really watery and didn’t taste well. Had to go next-door to correct it.
Overall is a very nice place with the great, Romanian hospitality.
