Went on Halloween for a birthday. Food and service was great as always. Such a great restaurant and experience in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek. Food is delicious! Great early dinner as it gets busy quickly. They gave us complimentary coconut ice cream for our birthday celebration.

Had a reservation at 8:45 with my good friend. Everything from the greeting and the intro was great. The food was spectacular. My only issue is that towards the end we noticed a sense of rush with the employees trying to kick guests out. Walking by each table offering boxes. Didn't like that. Also we ordered 2 desserts and we couldn't even take our time enjoying them because employees already started putting chairs up and the kitchen staff and amongst other employees...

Every dish we had exceeded our expectations. We spend a good deal of our time in the Caribbean and we don't often find that restaurants advertising Caribbean food exceed our expectations. The oxtail was simply one of the best I've had anywhere and every other dish was as delicious and perfectly prepared and presented. The service was perfect...warm and welcoming as well patient and helpful in answering any and all questions we had. I would have no hesitation about recommending...
