The manager (?) helped me when I ordered a tacos del costra. I noticed that he used much less cheese on the tortilla from the start, but everyone has their own way of making things. But when he did the toppings, I felt like he was giving the least amount of everything he could. I had to ask for another jalapeno and he literally took a pinch of cheese and topped my taco. I asked the girl for a little more cheese and he stepped in and told me that I only purchased one taco and the cheese that is used - they use extra cheese on the tortilla already. Well I have never had someone literally act like this at a Que Onda! I guess this guy is happy being penny rich - pound poor, because that's what he's going to end up being. Keep all of your toppings, dude, because I certainly won't be back. Cheap out and lose business...that's a great business model!! :) I noticed it was the lunch hour and there were no dash orders and only one other customer in there, so perhaps people are not inspired to return/repeat business where the owner treats them like he's having to pay for each shred of cheese out of his own pocket. lololol The food is the food and is good, but the haggling to get another pinch of cheese isn't what I'm trying to do when I step out to spend money on my lunch hour. Would not recommend this location!!!

Shameful portion of bean, rice, and cheese burrito for $20. The smallest freaking burrito I have ever seen. They didn’t even have rice, despite us ordering a BCR. I will absolutely not be returning.

My husband and I showed up around 9:55am, 5 minutes before they opened. We sat down outside and waited for them to unlock the doors, 10:10am comes around, and you can see the employees inside, talking, walking around. 2 other people showed up a few minutes later and tried to get in, we told them we were also waiting. We finally just got up and left. The lack of customer service from these entitled children have ruined this experience and business. Never returning and will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Responding to a favorable review in NextDoor, we ran over to Que Onda on Saturday to catch the last hour half hour of their generous happy hour. It was great!

Very fresh tasting hand wrought Tacos, a huge plate of juicy-topped crunchy flautas, covered with fresh chopped tomatoes, lettuce, crushed real avocados, and sour cream. The crispy flautas were very tasty! And both provided toppings of spicy and medium salsa, we're very good. Both plates were generous. And only $10 during happy hour - wow!

And noteworthy is the fact that until 6 PM, pints of excellent draft beer are only $5! Not mediocre beer like Bud and Coors, but Hazy Lagunitas IPA in a big cold 16 ounce glasses! My wife had a fresh artisan agave happy hour margarita. Only $6! ?

Maria, the cook, server, and bartender, was generous, friendly, and proud of her plates!
A hard worker that really paid attention to the details. Bravo Maria!

There's no doubt about it. This place pretty much kills chipotle. Especially from 3 - 6 PM!

Ordered pickup and came in with only one customer ahead of me. I told the one employee I was here for a pickup and he was attending another customer for quite some time so I decided to use the restroom. When I came out he was still talking to the other customer and I noticed my order was sitting behind the counter, after 5 minutes of waiting with no sense of urgency to just let me grab my food and go, I asked if I could just take my order because I had been waiting quite some time. He was incredibly rude and claimed that it’s my “fault” that my order is sitting there because I wanted to use the bathroom, what? Then he proceeds to call me “baby” and said “it’s not my problem you’re waiting, baby” in an aggressive tone and continues to utter insults under his breath as I walked out. Highly uncomfortable situation, very unnecessary. I will not be returning and especially won’t be recommending.

I don’t like writing negative reviews of a business. But I feel, after my recent meal, that I have to let others know that this is not worth the money. It isn’t good, and it is very expensive. My burrito was $20, which includes a $2 guacamole charge. But an $18 burrito should be very good, this place served up a $6 burrito at best. I have had better at the airport, I have had better out of my microwave. Wildly overpriced for value delivered. The serving area was a mess, stuff everywhere. The carnitas was like jerky, dry and flavorless. The burrito wasn’t event large, very average with minimal feelings - I’ve seen more cheese sprinkled on pasta. The restaurant was empty, I was the only one there on cinco de mayo, at 8:10pm. Should have been my first sign. There are many other great Mexican food options within 2-4 minutes away, do you research and pick any other place.Giving 2 stars because the person that helped me was nice. This is my third and final time eating here.

Honestly, probably my favorite taco place in Concord/Pleasant Hill. They have great prices, more variety than many, and everything I've tried is amazing.

4 people to eat $90 ridiculous. Soda was flat. The meat was so hard in my nachos. I couldn't chew it. So much for good food in California. We call that a clue when you go somewhere and no one's inside.

My queso tasted like fish today and my flautas were soggy and tasted like the chicken was old. Rice and beans were good but the meal was really bad today. Staff are very friendly. If this wasn’t a to go order I would have complained as it was that bad
