Not usually one to review, but figured I have to (literally for other peoples safety?).

So the salads usually taste great, but this is the THIRD TIME in a row that I’ve had something other than food in my salad.

First time there was a (very) small rock / piece of gravel. I figured a small mistake is fine, veggies come from the ground, and it’s likely super rare.

A few weeks later, there was a sharp fragment of the outside a sunflower seed. We started joking that maybe they’re after me.

Then tonight, AGAIN from the same location, I have the sliced off tip of a glove in my salad.

I think we’re done 🙅🏼‍♀️

I had a great lunch date with my friend and decided to get their application on my phone because the service was very kind and the ingredients were fresh. I will be coming back to try more of their menu.

Not a question of if they will forget something but of how many things they forget. Tonight left off a side, all of the chicken was gristle, and the apple had to have been cut 9 days ago…

love SG all the way. Love this location. East Bay need more SGs!
Tried KBBQ × Cote special and all time favorite Harvest Bowl.
KBBQ steak was delicious but too much gochujang made it too salty.
This location has Avocado Oil Air Fried Potato Fries! yum!

This was my first time ever in a Sweetgreen (in Walnut Creek), and it was quite an awful experience. First, I waited for an extended period while the ONE customer in front of me got served (it took forever). Then when I did get served, I order a Kimchi Cucumber Salad and I was told that the store was out of Kimchi. The employee then made the salad with no Kimchi, and when I asked for salmon as a replacement, she added the salmon, offered no discount for the lack of Kimchi, and charged me the full clip for the piece of salmon. I felt totally ripped off: I paid $20.65 for a Kimchi Cucumber Salad with no Kimchi and very slow, inattentive service. Maybe the business model is not predicated on repeat customers, as the employees didn’t seem to care if I would ever return.

Predatory fast food chain: they have customer parking, which you still need to pay for - and the maximum is 15 minutes. It took us 20 min to finish our food and they gave us a ticket. Such business practices should not be rewarded.

Sweetgreen is my spot for healthy, fast-casual meals. Everything I’ve tried so far has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The ingredients always seem high quality. It’s a great place for grabbing lunch or dinner, when you’re looking for something healthy and delicious.

I’ve been coming here for a while - but I have to say, this latest experience left me really disappointed. Their salads aren’t cheap, and I’ve accepted that because *normally* they are hearty and I’ve always received good service there. I just ordered a salad for pickup on DoorDash, and one of the toppings I got were almonds. Literally, the amount they gave, is a complete joke - I’m pretty sure this is like a 1// tbsp of almonds. The LEAST they could have done is filled up that little container considering their salads are now $16. This is the way you end up turning away loyal customers - it’s so disappointing from an establishment I have enjoyed for being so respectful of their customers.

Update- it gets worse!!! The second salad I ordered has a SPOONFUL of chicken! Are you kidding me? At this point you’re just robbing your customers.

Oh and ANOTHER update - they forget the broccoli. So at this point it’s not even just bad service it’s downright negligence.

I wanted to dine in but the tables inside are too dirty. Practically every table is greasy and covered in crumbs. The same goes for the floor under the tables. Apparently they don’t clean often enough. The new fries are so salty I couldn’t finish them. The salad was fine though.

I went in the store while visiting Walnut Creek. It was my first time in a “Seeet Greens”. Kayah & Mario gave the best service and took the time to explain the menu and even offered a sample of the new item. It young people like this that give me inspiration and hope for the future.
