It’s a decent coffee place in one of the oldest historic buildings of Walnut Creek. The issue with this place is that it’s close to impossible to get seats. People just sit there with one drink and a laptop for hours taking up all space. Tables for four almost always occupied by one selfish individual. Obviously there should be place for everyone and management is responsible to address this as at any other shops.
I stopped by to grab a quick bite & coffee. On a Sunday morning, before 10:30, the place was packed. Very busy. I got empanadas and an ice latte. The empanadas were very yummy, especially the mushroom. I wish there were more sauce options besides chimichuri, but otherwise the food was nearly perfect. The coffee was good, very smooth. Always appreciate a coffeeshop that believes you when you say you’ll order after using the bath and not before. Anyways, they have their own housemade syrups, the honeybun is great.
