Sushi was absolutely delicious and chunky!! Just how I like it! No skimping on the portion sizes! The atmosphere is ok - small restaurant with tables just to sit and eat, nothing more, nothing less. If you just want good sushi, this is the place to go. You don’t go here for a vibe or to hang out and relax. Staff were very pleasant.

I love sushi i often ordered Oyama, Oishi,Tatsu,Hasumi, I also like to try other sushi restaurants.
The 1st time I ordered Toyo sushi was yesterday..i can only give you 3 stars. I ordered Rainbow, Dragon, Florida & salmon avocado rolls.
They we’re just ok, the sushi rice is little dry, fell apart not moist enough 😐
Don’t know if I want to order Toyo sushi again 😧 $ 19.00+ 😧

Best in Walnut Creek. Way better than Kansai and Ozoro. Serving is satisfying and fair plus the best consistent taste. Where other two has small rolls and inconsistency. Keep it up and please remain the same Toyo.
