Very cute vibe, wonderful patio, great service. Food is garbage. Like Costco frozen dinner reheated food garbage. Had 1/3 the menu and it’s all crap.

Va de Vi Bistro & Wine Bar continues to impress us every visit. The food is always incredibly fresh, and the rotating menu keeps things exciting.

Their wine list is extensive and thoughtfully curated, with something for every mood. We usually sit outside on the patio under the heaters with our dog, and they’re always super accommodating.

The servers are also genuinely kind, attentive, and knowledgeable — it’s consistently a great experience all around. Highly recommend

Never had a bad meal! Everyone is always so nice and accommodating. We always sit outside with our dog, they are always ready to turn on the heaters for us on chillier days. Love the wine selection and all the different options for food!

I've gone several times.
Food is getting inconsistent. Ranges from fine to fantastic. Nothing has been awful though.
Vibe is great. Staff and service are great.
For the price, would like the food to be reliable.
For now, I'll still continue to visit but maybe less frequently.

Va de Vi in Walnut Creek is truly one of my absolute favorite spots—both personally and professionally! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of vibrant and sophisticated. It feels upscale yet welcoming, with an energy that makes every lunch feel like a special occasion.

The food is consistently outstanding. The menu is wonderfully eclectic with international flair, offering something exciting and unique every time. Whether you’re sharing small plates or enjoying a beautifully crafted entrée, every dish is thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. It’s the kind of place where you can confidently let the chef surprise you—and they always deliver.

And I have to give a huge shoutout to my favorite waiter, Alex! He is always incredibly attentive and expeditious, making sure everything flows seamlessly. His professionalism and warm personality elevate the entire experience. He anticipates needs before you even have to ask and makes every guest feel like a VIP.

I love bringing my clients and business partners here for lunch. It’s the perfect setting for meaningful conversations over exceptional food, and it never fails to impress. Va de Vi consistently provides an excellent experience from start to finish. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place has great food and drinks - it was his even on Tuesday night. The dessert for 2, Alaskan cod fish, chicken tacos, broccolini, gnocchi all are really good. 👍

We really enjoyed our experience at Va de vi! We were especially excited once we noticed the place was packed on a Thursday night.
We ordered many dishes, like the apple persimmon salad, ricotta gnocchi, lechon and short rib of course! Food and drinks were delicious and we would definitely return. There are many options around the area but this place was exactly what we were looking for, smaller portions with the affordability to order lots! Good quality, seasonal food :)

Way to small of cut. Other people have uploaded photos and you can see that I got half the size them and then when I was walking out, I seen them bringing the same meal two tables in their cuts were way bigger than mine. I hate just laughed

Loved Va de Vi. Ambiance is beautiful. Great place for a date. Can be romantic. Noticed many people were ordering small plates like tapas. Everything was delicious and far above the norm. I will definayely be back.
