This is a family-run, "hole-in-the-wall" establishment, as are so many of the best places in the world to eat. You'll find a homey atmosphere that's cheerful and informal, and a patient wait staff ready to field any questions you may have.

Better than Dave’s. Must try, this place is highly recommended. The flagship store in Oakland, I feel is better for authenticity. This will do when I can’t make it that far. Still better than Angry Chicks or Dave’s Hot Chicken by a landslide slide.

They have great music, and a nice clean layout. I've been craving good chicken and waffles since the place near me closed down and Hot boys did not disappoint!
If you have time to stop by I would recommend it!
