I am still actually seething. My husband and I decided on VD lunch at Yans today! Had Duckhorn Sav my fave last time we were there. We arrived to a very rude gentleman who rushed us to a table. Seemed overwhelmed. Only server. Restaurant very cold . Asked for Duckhorn and he starts yelling at me saying they don't have it. Tried explaining I enjoyed it last time and he walks away after shoving a wine list in my face. He returns and says it's by the bottle. I said fine how much. He begins yelling again. Brings back a bottle of Silverado. I said no thanks I want Duckhorn. He starts yelling again and then laughing (to the point I was shaking) . at me saying they never had it and what do I want. As we walked out the door he says thank you. I have never in my life been treated like this. Ruined our lunch and we're regrouping for appetizers somewhere. It was truly unbelievable. What a shame. On them. I'll tell as many people as I can not to fight the parking and traffic problems for this type of treatment. Wish I could give no stars.

The food was excellent! I was with two of my counterparts as we were working in the area (I am from Florida, one counterpart from Las Vegas and the last from Visalia) and we had dumplings, kung pao chicken, sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef with combination rice. It was absolutely fantastic! The service was incredible and we asked for absolutely nothing during our meal as it was taken care of before we even realized we needed it done.I highly recommend this location as you will not be disappointed.

Good quality ingredients and tasty food. Pricy for Chinese food but worth it. Polite and helpful staff. Not sure if there's a better Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area. They're that good!

We've never actually dined in at the restaurant but we've gotten to go from this place before! For Chinese food it's solid but it's a little oily to me and overpriced in my opinion. Having grown up in Southeast bay it's hard to pay these prices for standard Chinese food when I know that there's better if I just drive 30 minutes South. For the area though, it's decent and so if I'm ever in a rush to get some Chinese food it'll still be my go to place.

We love coming here for dinner. It's always buzzing with activity and it has a following of folks in the know of a great menu. The waitstaff is very attentive and the food is excellent. Alex, the owner, is an amazing chef and helps out in the kitchen for special occasions. Not your ordinary Chinese restaurant!

Finally, CHAR SIU (CHINESE BBQ PORK), just like East Coast (NYC) fried rice! Best I've had since moving here 13 years ago! Still looking for egg rolls with thick, bubbly-crispy skin!

I have been going to them for years. I'm here in Danville and it is worth the drive. They have flavorful food and the portions are nice size. They are always willing to accommodate changes to the dishes themselves.

The food was very bland and the noodles were dry. The chili wontons had a weird taste to them. The fried rice was okay but was still missing flavor. The only thing that was kinda decent was the Szechuan chicken and the veggie egg rolls.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Great menu. I have never been disappointed with their food.

We ordered takeout tonight and were just as pleased as the past times we have eaten here. The appetizer Crabmeat Cheese Puffs were excellent along with the main course dishes Spicy Garlic Szechuan Chicken Wings and Spicy Mango Chicken with Snow Peas. The white rice was light and fluffy. The food was ready earlier than promised. What a pleasure it was doing business with Yan's again.

We have been coming here for years and since covid this place has slowly started to change. Last night I ordered two orders of chicken chow mein to go. One of the orders was 98% noodle, the other wasn't so bad. I would not get food to go anymore but I have never had an issue with dine in. Their mango chicken is great!
