Mel's Mocha & Ice Cream

I stopped in because the place looks friendly and very cute. WRONG, no friendly greeting, attitude vibes. I ordered a coffee, then used the bathroom and I came out to my coffee on the counter and the staff didn't say, thank you or have a good day. Nothing friendly about this place and I paid over 3$ for a tiny espresso shot. Overpriced and rude customers serve.

This is that old fashioned hole in the wall best tasting ice cream you had as a kid. Highly recommended. My favorite is rocky road. Wow amazing how no other places taste as good.

Ice cream and sandwiches. Good stuff. Great location. Sit on the picnic benches out front and watch the lowriders, the custom cars, the tricked out motorcycles, go by on the street. Good polish dog.

Just passing through. Pleasantly surprised by the espresso. I ordered an espresso con panna (not on the menu). I love that the espresso wasn’t burnt. Someone knows what they’re doing here.

Ordered Hot Dog & Orange Smoothie.
Hot Dog was cold to the touch, not pleasant to eat. Orange Smoothie was amazing though, definitely recommend their ice cream flavors.

My husband and I stopped by on are way home from Sacramento we got sandwiches they were fresh and really good! They lady was also very kind! ? we will come back to try there ice cream

My favorite Ice cream spot in the Sacramento area by far. Amazing Ice cream, great portions and price. A great drive to there, and amazing views of the river across the road. Absolute hidden gem of a a spot.

I stopped because it said best sandwich on the delta. Not even close. The sandwich was mediocre. I ate it because i was hungry. Wouldn't go back. Much better sandwich ship in isleton

We finally stopped in here after driving past for so many years and it was greater than I imagined! I got 1 scoop of cookie dough and 1 scoop of butter brickle in a chocolate sprinkle cone. The ice cream is soooo creamy and sweet without being overly sweet and the cookie dough bits had a great consistency- no
t dry and almost sandy like some other brands have and the butter brickle had an amazing caramel swirl and a nice amount of toffee bits. And the serving sizes are VERY generous. This took me a while to eat! Good customer service and a charming interior. We look forward to coming in again!

They don't do hot pastrami, but they charge $11.50 regardless, clerk rudely refused my debit card without even considering it, and acted like we don't do business (i have a sticker on my brokerage visa for security). Front door says bathroom for customers only, but i didn't even see a trash can inside or outside for my basket. Theres nothing for miles a round, i imagine if you needed ti use the bathroom and walked in you might buy something occasionally. But yeah i drive by alot and always see people eating ice cream,my smoothie was good but they really just make you choose from an icebox and have noidea how its gonna turn out. Thankfully pineapple and strawberry wasnt crazy, but they got some flavors people could easily make something nasty with, clerk probably gets kicks from it. I think its extreemly overprices and nothing but a landmark location managed bad. One Star.

Old timey ice cream shop in a great antique building. Super nice staff. Get the bing cherry ice cream! Right across from a dock to watch the river from. We love to go on the scenic route back from Grandma's.
