Decided to grab food while out running errands. Stopped inside and ordered orange chicken for dine in service. For some reason, I was asked to pay for my meal prior to receiving it. I was the only customer in the establishment expected to pay first, and I was highly offended by this. I politely wrote the owner a note on my receipt, handed it to her, and she tried her best to apologize but the damage had already been done. Being treated this way is not a good feeling, I'm not sure how the food taste because I no longer have an appetite. I am disgusted.

Good for mt sac students, it’s right across the street
Great option for Chinese and/or Taiwanese food in the area. The restaurant is spacious and clean, with plenty of parking in the lot. The owner Stella was super kind, and it’s clear that a lot of thought was put into designing the menu so that there are options for everyone.
This time, I ordered dishes like the chili oil wontons, sweet and sour ribs, and eggplant with basil. The eggplant was tender with plenty of basil and was delicious with the rice, especially because the dish was on the oilier side (as classic eggplant dishes are). Wontons were pretty standard, slightly spicy. My favorite was the sweet and sour ribs—the breading was just thick enough for the hint of crunchy texture, and balance of sweet and sour was well done. The portion was reasonable for the price. Looking forward to being back.

My second time here and I will definitely continue to return. The waitress is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. We especially liked the eggplant with basil and the 3-cup basil chicken.

We ordered pickled veggi fish and 3-cup chicken. Quite authentic Taiwanese style cooking. Comfortable seating area with warmth. Good to meet friends for casual dining.

Big fan of this place for solid Cantonese/Shanghainese dishes that are clean and tasty.
There’s obviously a lot of competition around here for Chinese food, but this is my go-to for made to order Chinese food with ample portions for lunch the next day.

This was new to the area so I wanted to give it a try. The beef rolls were over-sauced (extra salty) and tasted of being cooked with stale, old oil. The cold cut combo was okay. Their specialty chicken dish was over seasoned (extra salty) so I had to down 3 cups of water eating this meal. I don't think I would visit again.

Ordered their beef stew noodle to go, it was the most tasteless beef stew noodles i’ve ever eaten. Maybe their other foods are better which i haven’t tried, but their beef stew noodle tasted like made by someone who never cooked before.
Food was tasty!

5 stars for food and service! As someone with several food allergies, it can be tough to find a restaurant that accommodates my restrictions. Everyone was so kind and helped me find options on the menu that could be modified for me!
You can tell that everything is made with love and quality ingredients :). Such a hidden gem! Will definitely be returning SoOn!
