I literally had to spit the spicy tuna crispy rice out of my mouth. The gyoza was fine.

Food was decent. Lady there was RUDE. Won't attend customers and uncomfortable with heat. Won't turn on AC. My son wanted to use the restroom and I couldn't take him to the women's restroom and he was terrified to go by himself. Her excuse, people will complain and there's no one there except her conplaining

Extreme disappointment! Started off with choosing a combo meal with most of the choices for meats adds an extra dollar to the entree. Regardless, choosing items like tempura and the beef, we were told as not available as choices (not because they ran out) but because they want you to buy those same items as appetizers which are more expensive. Why not remove them from the menu (cross it out or cover it)? Ended up getting the tempura anyway as an appetizer but once it was served, the taste and texture was no where near what it should be. Batter was thick, doughy, and worst of all had old oil, burnt taste. BTW, five piece shrimp only tempura is $7.99 and tempura with mixed vegetables only had two pieces of shrimp (what?) at $10.99 (what we ordered). The rest of the combo meal that included mixed sashimi was sub par and was a little fishy. We asked for water and was told they don't have any, but was available as bottled water. It was definitely a bust on our decision to dine here. Guess it should have been a warning when we walked in and there weren't any patrons. Definitely not going back.

I’ve been coming to this sushi spot for over ten years, ever since my high school days. The quality and value are unbeatable!

the sushi was great, but other meats like beef chicken and pork all were dry and bland. moreover, the prices were really high, and the lady that works as a waitress sucks due to her attitude. I wouldn't recommend this shop, but they do have nice sushi.

if you’re looking for sushi nearby, this is the spot! It’s across the street from Mt SAC and a couple minutes away from CalPoly. I come here during my breaks and it’s a good price, and the sushi is bomb.

The sushi here is good! Only problem is this place takes forever to bring out your food and it comes out one at a time. Mind you its pretty much empty the times i do go. Maybe hire more staff for faster service. Other than that very nice people and great food :)

10/10 recommend this place! My husband and i love it here. The sushi is amazing quality, the service is great and definitely a great bang for your buck! My husband and i eat a TON of food so i’m sure we paid more than the average person but even then it was inexpensive for sushi! ?

I'm extremely disappointed and disgusted by my recent visit to this location. I've been here before and the food was always great. However, during our last visit, upon opening our takeout meal, we discovered maggots in both of our chicken teriyakis. Although the owner refunded our money, she insinuated that we might have put them in there, and defended the cleanliness of the restaurant. Despite its appearance of cleanliness, as we were leaving, we observed three more flies entering through the front door. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

I was here a few years ago and remembered it being packed and had a nice experience. Fast forward now, I enter and the place is empty. The menu looks like there were some price changes and looked it was updated by Mickey Mouse. I ordered my Bento box and ordered my daughter's dinner which was udon beef, nope don't have it.. only thing they had were the pricier items which was fine, I ordered it. I asked for some water and they wanted to charge for water. I headed out real quick, misrep the menu, nickel and dime not for me.
