“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

The staff is so awesome and friendly and this place overall is such a vibe. The music is always playing. The food is so affordable I haven't seen anything on the menu over $14 and for a vegan. If you know you know 🙄 And they even have a day where they give out free soup. How great is that?!!☺️ I even took my father And my sister-in-law who are not vegans and they are still raving about the Cali burger and tacos rice and bean plate 😋 So please don't walk, run to this place. “I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“First time visiting for a late lunch on the patio yesterday and we were surprised with Happy Hour @ 2PM every day. The chips and guac are great, and the $6 margaritas were delicious. The ceviche was bomb and the salsas were all so good! Staff were so kind and friendly too. Happy we tried it and can’t wait to go back.“

The flavors were excellent, the meat quality was great, the tortillas and salsa were hand made. And the tacos were large size, not small Tijuana tacos. I also ordered a pambazos which was crispy, flavorful and succulent. We tried 10 kinds of pan dulce and everything was fresh and affordable. We will definitely be back“

“If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.“

I was craving carne asada, but great carne asada not the bland stuff you find at most places. They city we live in DOES NOT have a single place that satisfies our taco and burritos craving. We found this place by chance and it did not disappoint. Trust the 5 star reviews. They're telling the truth. Although this is a 30-40 minute drive from home, we will gladly make the drive for this food. Oh and the horchata is the best!“

Would get more stars really, which affects their service. No parking or place to eat makes us sometimes come back another time when there is enough space. They do have fast service.“
