Papa Dogs Taphouse & Deli is a charming lunch counter and a great find in Weaverville. It offers a satisfying, tasty sandwich at a reasonable cost and is great for a shady spot to get some food and beverage. The vibe is cool with a great atmosphere. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, including a nice patio and courtyard. The inside is cool and clean with lots of room inside and out.
The menu has tons of sandwich, panini, and hot dog options, including a Seattle hot dog, a delicious pastrami panini, and a very good turkey sandwich. They also have tri tip, pie, Dreyers Black Cherry ice cream, and shave ice. All sandwiches can be made into wraps. There is an amazing beer fridge selection with lots of drink options, including beer and wine.
The staff is great with excellent service and everyone is polite. The owners support local artists and there is a giant jigsaw puzzle. It is a stoners delight and definitely recommended.
