I parked my truck at the truck stop and took my hungry nephew to eat at Dos Amigos. He originally wanted McDonald's but I'm glad he changed his mind.I ordered Camarones a la Diabla and some jalapeno poppers. My nephew ordered a Seafood Burrito. They didn't skimp out on the shrimp whatsoever like most restaurants. The poppers were delicious as well. My nephew loved his burrito.On our way out we saw the novelty store and had to check it out. Bought my nephew a shirt...
We really enjoyed the food here, thought it was great. The staff was very polite and friendly. Perhaps they were under-staffed when we were there, as we waited 30 minutes for our food and had to track down the server to get our check. Otherwise, a fine experience.
I was told be careful the plate is hot!! Funny!! Because my food was at best warm. And some of it cold. As was the plate. She never came back to see how we were. Or to be asked to nuke my enchiladas. My husband enjoyed the burrito he got. Not going back....
