I had the Double Shrimp Tostada. Came with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, rice and beans, and choice of dressing all inside a tostada shell. Shrimp was seasoned PERFECTLY and not 'rubbery'(?) like it was under a heat lamp all day. At first, I thought ordering shrimp at a "chicken place" seemed kinda strange, but now I know that I have found a new favorite! Awesome lunch!
Went to EPL West Covina(restaurant #3742) last Thursday. Chicken was dry and black/burned on the bottom. I got breast and wing. Breast was only slightly larger than wing. Counter person was almost mechanical, no smile, no thank you. Kept interrupting while I was trying to order. They didn't seem to care that chicken was grossly overcooked. I live in a different city and the EPL by my home is always wonderful, chicken cooked perfectly and staff are friendly.

Stopped by to get something to eat, walked in as I was looking at the menu, a girl walked up and asked if I was using the App?! I got confused, she did not say, hi, hello or welcome to Pollo Loco, nothing, very rude attitude. I got a dry salad, asked for extra pico de gallo, and got 1. The chicken appeared to have been sitting under a hot lamp or something totally dried out, as if way over cooked. Pollo Loco needs to 1, teach these kids they are hiring customer courtesy, manners to be cordial and at least make a fake smile. 2 Pollo needs to start buying some bigger pieces of chicken, the chicken they’re handing out looks more like pigeons they’re catching out in the parking lot. 3 instead of the workers standing around being rude and just gossiping teach them how to clean tables, sweep mop and clean up those restrooms, OMG clean the joint up starting with their staff. I won’t be returning sorry it’s not the first time this type of stuff has happened…..?

I love getting the taco salad. Usually, it's amazing. Yesterday I went and got me a taco salad and the taco quesidilla for my son. We seemed to enjoy the items. However, both have been up since 1 am getting sick. It was the last thing we both ate, my boyfriend got a burger elsewhere. Me and my son are the only ones who can hold food down. It's so sad that we won't be coming back.

Food was okay, service was horrible. They are super understaffed and stressed, and won't even come to the register anymore because they have those touch screen monitors to order. Those are not convenient for everyone. The day I went there was many people before me that were complaining of being there for over an hr waiting for their food. Happy I didn't wait that long. Most likely not returning to this pollo loco. We'll find another one from now on.
Very poor customer service. Very rude staff, very unprofessional can't admit when they give the wrong order or when they didn't give your item in your bag and continued to say they did but my item wasn't in the bag, but i was charged for it. They can't admit they made a mistake. Very bad customer service !! Never go back there again.

The Customer Service is horrible! The staff (mainly females) all have the worst attitudes, & NEVER listen long enough to hear what you actually ordered & just give you whatever they feel like making. I hate this place. Whoever owns it either has the same attitude or doesn’t care about how customers are treated. The last 3 times I’ve been here my order has been wrong. The staff is trash.
