Cafe 86 is a cozy and relaxing spot, great for all things ube with a plethora of ube flavored drinks and sweets. The atmosphere is amazing, clean, very open, and welcoming, making it a perfect place to hang out or study with available wifi and plenty of seating. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and provides good service.

Drinks are a highlight, described as amazing, rich, flavorful, and heavenly. The Thai tea is solid, very flavorful, and tastes exactly like a famous LA version. Other notable drinks include the house milk tea, Milo milk tea, a standard matcha latte that is not too sweet or bitter, and a taro drink. There is also a new Matcha Pandan drink and an ube spiced latte where the spices meld really well with the ube flavor. However, the Milo milk tea was noted to be undissolved and powdery.

For food and sweets, options include an Ube Truffle Cupcake, which is absolutely worth it, an ube brownie, a Mais con Yelo bar, and a halo halo. The halo halo mini size is filling and has a variety of toppings, though it could be blended better. The ube brownie was considered good but not exceptional.
