Wow!
I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about this restaurant and it's fusion of Mexican, Cuban and Mediterranean cuisine.
I haven't had a single thing that I haven't found delectably DELICIOUS.
I'm working my way through their menu and I plan to try EVERYTHING!
Parking is a challenge here with So many popular eateries and stores.
Go with someone who has a handicap blue Parking pass and there are 2 spots almost directly in front of the restaurant!
Take your Grandparents out for a FABULOUS meal and dining experience!

Got the casuelita de olla and smoked salmon on sourdough. Both soooo delicious I had to tip the cook. I understand what people say about service but it really feels like the restaurant is owned by a cook or first time business owner and they’re learning how to manage the front table service staff. You see and feel the effort. The 3 waiters there on a Sunday did the best to take care of a full restaurant! Definitely recommend coming and supporting.

Food here is good. Came in today around 2pm and they turned me and my family away for apparently no reason. They closed an hour early, said online they close at 3pm. They should update their hours I guess.

This place has a cute aesthetic, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing and the pricing felt deceptive. My friend and I visited today and received poor service from both waitresses. One barely acknowledged us and seemed unsure of what she was doing—when we asked for hot sauce, she brought ketchup. The other waitress rushed us through checkout without ever checking in during the meal.
While the food itself was decent (I had the carnitas benedict), I was overcharged. The menu listed it at \$19, but my final bill came out to \$28—with a tip already included. Even after adjusting the tip, the total still didn’t add up. I also only drank water....
Between the inattentive service, overpriced and misleading pricing, I won’t be coming back or recommending this place to others.

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and was pleased with my experience overall. The place wasn’t too packed, so we were seated and ordered our food right away. Our food came out pretty quickly; we ordered the steak sandwich and chilaquiles verdes. The chilaquiles sauce was pretty creamy and savory, which is different from other places. They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from (mimosas, michelada, and cafe de olla). We will probably come back to try other dishes since they do offer a wide variety of dishes.

We have tried this place several times and the food is always good. However, this last time I was there had a really bad experience. The restaurant was completely empty and we were sat down next to another party that we're discussing family drama and we understand we all have that however we asked to move seats to give privacy in that a restaurant was completely empty and we're told they would get back to us. Then they completely ignored Our request didn't acknowledge it anymore and force us to sit down next to this party and listen to their drama for about 30 minutes. In our opinion, it was a very simple request.
However, the fact that we could be completely ignored was not acceptable.

Been her a couple of times and it's deff a hit or miss! We came the first month it opened and had a terrible experience!! And I thought because it was new that they would get better with time, nope as consumers/customers we expect to go to a restaurant and THEY SERVE YOU! not like a servant but its simple you sit down wait a couple of minutes they ask your drink order, when you get your drinks you should have already chosen what your gonna eat so order your food and wait for said food, that's it pretty simple right?!?! Not here I've waited 20-30 min at times for someone to even approach me to order a drink and other times I've forcefully called a waiter over to order! Food is pretty descent but very overpriced!!! Staff or OWNER needs to learn or be reminded on how to properly run a restaurant business!!!

The restaurant is a little too crowded and noisy would say...
Attention is not the best (they kept us waiting at the entrance like for 5 minutes... And there were plenty of tables available and to take our order it took them another 10 minutes).
Food is pretty good, though... My wife was a huge fan of the lavender latte and the salmon toast.
Perhaps it is just not my type of restaurant, but give it a try and judge by yourself :).

Absolutely blown away by Sage Social Eatery in Covina – this place is a hidden gem that deserves all the buzz and more. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was just too good not to share.
I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict, and it was nothing short of inspiring. A clever and delicious twist on the classic bagel and lox, fused seamlessly with the elegance of a Benedict. Perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, all served with crispy, herb-kissed rosemary potatoes—it was a flavor explosion in every bite.
My mom had the Nutella crepes paired with fresh seasonal fruit, and they were beautifully presented and absolutely decadent. To our surprise and delight, they even served Café de Olla—a rare find and her personal favorite. It’s those little details that make a place unforgettable.
The ambiance is something special—think old-world European charm meets cozy countryside café vibes, tucked away in the city. Even the table water was thoughtfully infused with strawberries, lemon, blueberries, and mint. It’s clear they care about every detail, and it shows.
The staff? So friendly, personable, and genuinely attentive. You feel welcomed and cared for the second you walk in.
If you haven’t discovered this place yet, you’re truly missing out. Trust me—go, go again, and order everything. Sage Social Eatery is now at the top of my go-to list.
And just when I thought it couldn’t get better—I found out they have a sister restaurant called Mamimosas right by my house. Guess that’s next on the list!

Amazing brunch spot! Lia was an excellent host, taking care of us from the phone call to confirm availability for a large party (10), to providing sparkler candles for our birthday cakes. The food was unique and the espresso drinks were perfect pairings. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.

HOW DO THEY ONLY HAVE 3.3 STARS???!! Today we celebrated mother's Day with the family and our was half of our first time there and others of us had been here before. We came here on a recommendation and we are highly highly highly happy and surprised! We literally cannot say enough amazing things about the staff, food, and atmosphere. If you're interested in something sweet I highly recommend the cookie butter waffles! Light, airy, crispy where it needs to be in tons of flavor. For an appetizer we have the pork belly and yuca, so good we had to order it twice. The chilaquiles, the avocado toast, the chimichurri steak, everything was excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Lia was awesome!!!

I really don't like writing bad reviews. I try to give places the benefit of the doubt but my experience here was so disappointing.
My family and I came here with my sister in law who is visiting from out of town for Mother's day.
Even though I live close to this place, I hadn't had the chance to try it so my son thought it may be nice to go there for Mother's day. Their online menu looked pretty big and pretty good so we were very excited to try it and hopefully make it our local go-to breakfast/brunch spot.
The decor is really cute on the inside, very inviting and very colorful. The music was a bit too loud so you have to kinda speak with higher volume so people can hear you.
We sat down and were given the menu which the waitress mentioned that it was a set menu for Mother's Day.
We took a look at the set menu which includes one appetizer platter for the table, an entreé for each person and dessert platter for the table, for $35 per person.
There were very few entreé options and every single one had some kind of meat in it, not one vegetarian option, not even one.
the waitress mentioned that we can get avocado toast and we all ordered that and we asked to have eggs on top of the toast as well.
One plate of avocado toast arrived and 2 plates of eggs. We sat for 20 minutes and nothing else came.
We asked one of the waiters if we can get our food and that the eggs that were meant to go on top of the toast are now cold. He did take the eggs and tell us that he would bring out our food soon.
We waited and still nothing. We called for our waitress and explained to her our frustration. With attitude, she put the blame on us, saying that since we ordered off the set menu, they had to get the supplies for avocado toast. I don't understand this part because other dishes had avocado and toast so what supplies did they have to get?
She was rude, we were all uncomfortable and frustrated at this point. So we decided to leave.
As we're leaving, the owner comes out with the avocado toast plates (with no eggs, just a piece of toast and avocado).
I have to say, the owner was very very nice and applogetic and told us that he could package our food for us if we still wanted to leave.
At this point, people were staring at us and we were very uncomfortable.
The owner ended up packaging everything for us and we went home.
I was hoping to have a positive experience and enjoy a new place that had potential.
I am really surprised that a breakfast place put together a menu that does not have one vegetarian option.
I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 star because of the decor and one of the waiters who took away the cold eggs and the owner were very nice.

This restaurant truly lacks customer service. They are very rude. They can care less about customer service and their food can truly use some help. I would definitely not recommend this place. Spend your money elsewhere!
