This restaurant was an unexpected surprise! It's in the back of the Sunset Marquis hotel, in a really nice garden setting. The menu was lovely with both healthy and decadent choices. Portions were generous. The setting on a cold night was quiet and nice, but I imagine it would be really great on a warm night or during the day.

My friends are I have created a Christmas tradition. Every Christmas Eve we all get together for dinner. The location is perfect. Service is great and the food is just superb. This year, I had the salmon. Also, I have noticed some changes to the menu. Personally I liked the previous menu. It has a bit more to offer.

The food is tasty, but could be elevated. For example the roasted root vegetable salad had very few root vegetables, it was mostly greens. Atmosphere is superb, wonderful for intimate conversation with family and friends or a business meeting. Service was on point

Been here twice: once for a Thanksgiving dinner and once for just a nice early afternoon lunch. Both times food was delicious, indoor/outdoor atmosphere was pleasant, and service was terrific.
The ambience is amazing! the for was really good. The service was great. I would highly recommend for a dinner with friends or any special occasion.

We had a fantastic dinner at the bar. To be honest...this is one of our very favorite hotel and restaurants to begin with. That said the food was even better this time and the drinks and staff are just awesome. Thank you...thank you...thank you 😊😊😊

Making this private. We have been coming to Cavatina well before it was built. We use to go to the outdoor cafe at Sunset Marquis LONG ago. My husband is a musician and even before we moved to L.A. we stayed there. Anyway, LOVE the food and the service so good. Our waiter last night so sweet and efficient. We met some other friends there and we were all surprised how much the prices have gone up. Just super pricey. Yes, we do realize prices have gone up everywhere but just a bit jarring. The portions were a tad small but food great. We will continue of course to come to your fine establishment but sadly not as often. Thank you for reading.

Had a great experience there. The apple gazpacho was definitely one of the gazpacho varieties I've ever had and stole the show from the tuna Tataki. Also enjoyed great service by the waiter who was very helpful and knowledgeable!

What a special restaurant! The ambiance is romantic and beautiful- running water, trees, flowers and greenery - open air plan. There are heaters for when it's chilly out. The service was fantastic- our waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was amazing from the appetizers to the drinks, to the entrees and dessert!
