I’ve been to this restaurant many times and usually enjoy it, but my most recent visit was honestly disappointing from the moment we were seated. We were offered an outside table because of live music, which was fine, but it was cold. We were told blankets would be brought out to us—they never arrived. I understood the host was busy, but I also asked both the server and a busser, and still received nothing.

Service throughout the night was lacking. Our server seemed disengaged and uninterested. When I asked about different meat options, he replied, “If you don’t see it on the menu, then we don’t have it,” which came off unnecessarily sassy and off-putting. I ordered a side of prosciutto and bread, and they came out at completely different times—we were done with one item before the other even arrived.

I waited a very long time for a refill on iced tea, only getting one after waving the server down multiple times. Our salad arrived with no share spoons and tasted off, but I couldn’t even communicate that because the server was never available. The pizza was undercooked, and no one checked on us until we were almost done eating. By then, we had barely touched the food and were just ready to leave.

When I walked to the server station to pay—since no one came to our table—the server told me, “I take that at the table, go back and I’ll be there once I’m done at the bar.” At that point the service felt dismissive at best. The way the server looked us up and down from the very beginning also made me feel like there was some judgment happening, possibly even racially motivated, as if he assumed we wouldn’t tip well.

I left feeling honestly embarrassed that I even spent money here. The bill wasn’t cheap, but the service definitely was.

I’ve supported this place many times, but this experience truly has me questioning if I’ll ever return.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all near perfect. It is pricy but for the quality of the food I was still happy. Inside was packed on a Tuesday night so they are doing something right.

I've been coming here for a long time, and this has always been one of my favorite places. But honestly, I'm a bit disappointed this time. The portions of the food were really small. I ordered the calamari and only got about 7 or 8 pieces — very disappointing. The meatballs were also quite small. I also ordered a drink and specifically asked for a shot with just a splash of something else, but it came out watered down, so I ended up having to add another shot. Overall, I'm a little disappointed and hoping that, in the future, both the service and portion sizes will improve.

Having dined at Cecconi's since it opened in 2009, I look forward to being there with my best friends whenever we want to gather for lunch in West Hollywood. It is centrally located, filled with a fun crowd and is a place to see and been seen.

They are in desperate need of a good cheeseburger 🍔. Other than that, it's my spot! Better than Craig's. That's Fasho! * Ladies, you actually find good looking men here. 🙌

Great restaurant and history here, but unfortunately this being my favorite places for Desserts, we were given the bill without asking for it as we had to beg to get a dessert menu. Well, the dessert menu never came, but as I told the waiter, I love the profiteroles here it automatically came. Our server was suddenly nowhere to be found as we had three other people coming to our table to find our server at the end of the night at the front of the restaurant talking to colleagues . Great place, good food, but horrible service

Cecconi’s is a timeless West Hollywood classic, stylish, welcoming, and consistently delicious. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the terrace, with exceptional service that made the evening feel seamless.

Highlights included the charred octopus (perfectly tender with bright Mediterranean flavors), the whipped ricotta with crisp crostini, and hearty meatballs in rich marinara. The sausage & broccolini pizza was a standout with its airy crust and great flavor, and the sea bass arrived beautifully cooked with a golden finish and fresh vegetables.

From the ambiance to the food to the thoughtful hospitality, Cecconi’s delivered a wonderful experience. A go-to spot for a special night out, client dinner, or any moment worth celebrating. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the eggplant parmigiana of my partner did not meet his expectations. On the contrary, it was barely edible. No taste, overcooked and for a parmiggiana, there was way too little mozzarella in it! We come from Europe and are familiar with Italian cooking. My food was good, but not outstanding. The noise level was very high, the ambiance average. Too bad, we won't come back. Value for money is poor. You can get better food.

Always our first place we go to when visiting, sitting at the bar is a must, great service, Connor did a great job.

Been coming here for years and this time the food was terrible! A big fan of the zucchini frittes, but that was not as good! Also sofa seating is very uncomfortable...opt for table and chairs

It was a very pleasant experience. The waiter was very helpful — since my wife and I don’t eat pork, he offered us alternative options. We ordered the calamari, beef tartare, and margherita pizza, and they even prepared a special white truffle pasta for us.

Overall, it was great. The calamari wasn’t overcooked, the beef tartare was made to perfection, and the pizza was absolutely delicious.
My only issue was that the truffle pasta was a bit too oily and slightly heavy.

I’ll definitely come again, and I highly recommend visiting when you’re in Hollywood!
