We really like this place a lot. They have a wonderful patio. They were just a couple of hiccups. We had a 1 o'clock reservation and orders the fried calamari and we told the Prior wasn't heated up yet. We have to wait 30 or 40 minutes. Seems a bit odd to me. Very good overall and our server was very nice. We did have an appointment afterwards. Had a hard time getting our check at the very end of the meal though so that made us a bit late for our appointment.

We enjoyed the service, the food, the wait staff was excellent and the accommodations/table met with all of our approval. Loved the Whipped Ricotta with truffle appetizer and the calamari (lightly dusted instead of coated with a thick batter) although we would've loved more of the calamari--not enough for a table of 6 so if your party is larger than 2, order 2 servings. Loved the fried zucchini as well.

We were seated next to the Server's station, at the end of a table for 10 next to us. So, no ambiance! Food was extremely average for this price point. Overall, time has moved on and Cecconi's has lost its sparkle but still charges for it.

The main reason for going was ro enjoy dinner and the food here was below average. The lobster and pasta were terrible and we had to send it back. I think the lobster happens to be bad because the dish tasted “gamey” from the initial bite. That should never be the case with lobster. Our waitress was great. She worked to get us new orders and of course did not charge us for the dish we had to return. It was hard to judge the items because the dining experience had already been ruined. The atmosphere of this place was confusing. There is a section that seems ideal for a family or business meeting. There is a garden section that would support a more romantic evening then the bar area gave “pick-up” vibes of the late 20s, 30's and 40 year olds. Overall, I was disappointed and would not suggest prioritizing a visit here. There are far too many great restaurants in L.A.

Lively bar scene. Interesting people. Rating on a scale for hip places. Way above Olive Garden but not so special when compared to upscale places.

The only reservations available were for outside. But it was cold and only three of the estimated 20 tables had diners. It was like there was a big party going on inside the restaurant and we were sitting at the kids table. The restaurant needs to add space heaters and bring some of the in-restaurant ambiance to the outside.

I regret not trying this place sooner because after dinner last night, I would say this is definitely in my top five favorite Italian restaurants in LA list. It’s in a really busy and fun part of town. This part of West Hollywood is not as busy as the North end so parking isn’t as bad but it’s still difficult at certain times. We were able to find a metered street spot right out front, but we were just lucky with the timing. Otherwise it will be $15 for valet. I especially love how the inside is designed. It has a classy 1920s feel to it and I especially love how dark it is inside, and how each table has its own lighting. It really adds to the mood. They also have a very large and busy bar that had every seat taken during our entire meal. Our server was very polite and all of our items came out quickly after placing the order. They have a fairly large menu with a lot of great options on it. The hardest part for me was narrowing down which ones I wanted to order because there were so many that I wanted to get. I started off with the Whipped Ricotta and thought it was fantastic. It’s a really sweet and cheesy start to the meal. Next was the Fried Artichokes and honestly they were some of the best that I’ve ever had. First off, you can eat the entire thing and secondly, the flavors were just terrific. Next came the Steak Tartare and I thought it was wonderful. The black truffle really adds to the flavor and I especially loved the quail egg. For our entrées, we chose the Butternut Squash Tortellini and the Lamb Ragu Cavatelli. Both were good sized portions and were cooked perfectly. The flavors were just very rich and we enjoyed every bite. They did have some good dessert options but by this time of meal, we were just too full.Overall one of my favorite Italian restaurants in all of Los Angeles. I definitely would recommend to anyone for any occasion, and I plan to be back in the future.Parking: metered street parking or $15 for valet

Absolutely lovely! We were celebrating my birthday last night with a seating at 9:30pm. Undoubtedly it was one of the best experience we've ever had! The atmosphere was electric; full of beautiful people dressed to impress at the cool bar area along with great music. The food was exquisite and delicately presented on a coordinate manner, which is never easy on a full house! The service was simply outstanding from beginning to end. What a chic place with a great vibe!

Great atmosphere. Serving staff was attentive and polite. Helpful recommendations. The appetizers were flavourful. We enjoyed the calamari, the zucchini friti and fried artichokes. The bolognese and cavatelli lamb ragu were very good as was the eggplant parmigiana. A very enjoyable evening!

Honestly our server was the highlight of the night- thanks so much Adolfo! Even though we had a reservation, it still took us about 20 minutes to be sat. 10/10 recommend the Lychee Martini at the bar while you're waiting. Valet is terrible and they charged $17 although online and at the restaurant it says $12? Anyways, the food was a moderate 7.5/10, was expecting much better given the prices. Likely wouldn't go back, one and done kind of dining experience.
