This place is so overpriced. Don’t understand how a mediocre scrambled egg charges 20$ plus 3% back-end kitchen surcharge plus 22% default tips? I guess this is one of those places where people complain about ridiculous surcharges with mediocre food. Food is not that healthy. It’s more on the greasy side. Very wrong choice to come eat here ?

Came here for lunch on a Friday. Cocktail was good, garlic bread was very good. Pasta was decent. Pinot Grigio was hinky, and server was nice about taking it off the check. Service was friendly, but they are understaffed. Huge menu. Solid neighborhood place.

Thanks so much for another wonderful time at Hugo's. A West Hollywood staple, Hugo's is the perfect low-key, casual environment with a vast menu of great tasting food. The host was so kind in helping me pick out the perfect seat. The waiter was great at getting our order perfect and was attentive but not intrusive. Thank you, Hugo's — see you again for eggs super soon! ❤️
If you have the opportunity sit Matt's section. He's the best. Just don't sit there when I'm there. :-) He's my server lol. Seriously, they are all wonderful. It's my favorite neighborhood restaurant with wonderful people and wonderful food.
The menu is extremely varied - we came for Sunday brunch and you could get a variety of brunch-type dishes, or lunch/dinner options too. It was easy to get side dishes and/or substitution nof this or that. The place is charming and the service was excellent. It was a very comfortable place to sit and chat. It is also easy to park nearby as there is a large parking lot across the street. I was in LA as a visitor and the local residents I was visiting picked it - an excellent choice in all categories.
