After being a regular at Jones for 8 years, our visit on November 25, 2025 was extremely uncomfortable. The host Sage met us with hostility whether we wanted a booth or the bar. He then told us we couldn’t sit at the booth for a party of three unless each person ordered an entrée, which we said we would happily do. Before seating us or offering menus, he demanded to know our order, despite one person in our group never having been to Jones before. He insisted we name exact entrées to be seated without menus!
His rude, unwelcoming behavior forced us to leave, and he followed us out. The manager Cody, dismissed our concerns without apology. As the only Asian party in the restaurant at the time, the treatment felt concerning. We’ve never experienced anything like this here, and even Swingers under the same ownership, has never shown hostility.

From the moment we arrived, communication was extremely lacking. The host was dismissive and barely spoke to us, making it unclear where to go or what was happening with seating. The server and bartender were also very hard to engage with, minimal interaction, no real check-ins, and it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than guests.
The bar area was completely packed, and it was nearly impossible to get anyone’s attention or ask basic questions. Overall, the lack of hospitality and communication really took away from what could have been a nice experience.
For a place with this reputation, we expected a much higher level of service and professionalism

What is going on with ur bread though? They have been like hard discs the last 10 times I’ve been there. Even when it opens
This place was so cute, and the food was good, unfortunately our server Caroline was not as enjoyable as the food, she was rushing us to order and seemed to be in a bad mood, I guess she knew the table next to us, and wanted to spend time with them instead and happened to watch her down two shots before returning to work, didn’t check on us, except when bringing the check, thankful for the food runners that tended to us, but I probably won’t return to dine in.

Jones is Not only an iconic Los Angeles restaurant it's also serving some of the best pizza and drinks in Hollywood if you are starving on a Thursday night at 11:00 p.m. I highly recommend stopping by ordering a pizza sitting at the bar or one of their comfy boots I'm getting a martini. I personally am a gimlet girl and these bartenders know what they are doing. My boyfriend and I were famished when we got here we asked the waiter for his recommendations I believe his name was Austin and let me tell you this waiter executed the assignment he recommended their salmon with the Wasabi mashed potatoes and it was a wonderful recommendation we also ordered the calamari and kale Caesar salad which were highly delicious

After a show, tried Formosa but it was almost 11 and their kitchen was closed and we were too hungry. The pointed us across the street, looked a little dank from the outside tbh, but took a chance. The place was lit and on a Tuesday! Great seats, great waitress, just dim enough to have a great vibe, and the food was good!

Jones was recommended by someone I saw earlier in the day and they did not disappoint! Wonderful staff, food and drinks! You couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere. I was looking for the best WEHO Italian restaurant and I found it! Reservations are obviously needed but luckily I was solo and squeezed in at the bar, my fave spot for dinner. Surprised ro see many other patrons enjoying the same scenario.

This bar is my go-to late-night spot! The pasta is absolutely delicious (especially their off-menu pink sauce pasta, which is creamy, flavorful, and totally addictive). I also love that they have amazing non-alcoholic drink options, so everyone can enjoy the night. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, perfect for unwinding with friends after a long day. It’s one of those hidden gems that feels special every time you go!

Great spot with a true LA vibe. Jones is perfect for a late-night dinner after a party, delicious food, solid cocktails, and that unmistakable Hollywood atmosphere. The kind of place where the night just keeps going in the best way

I spoke with the “manger “ I m even more shocked about how he managed that …. So the late nights starts like that … we get there on the entrance , one of my friends from Guatemala didn’t bring the id , without saying nothing we say :”we go home I live 3 min from here I got get the id , than we Come back , and another my friends , once we come back with Id , he said it’s my birthday, the guy at the door says : “nobody cares “ …. Really ? , after we wait at the host 10 min , she said doesn’t have table start to order at the bar than I ll get a table if is gonna be possible , ok , than I start to order at the bar , the host find us a table , but we were not able to transfer the food that we ordered at the table , so we stay at the bar … it’s OK , but what it’s not ok it’s the BARTENDERS That everyone know a, even my friends that are still hanging out there , like 2 years since I moved here , every night i go there super Rude , I mean if you are not happy of your work don’t do it l, anything I was asking super rude but this thing is not about my last dinner is about 2 years of dining there so in the end after I m 2 years here in La I always leave a good tips, this time that was even my brother bday , I thought I need to stop that .., i m not gonna leave any tips ….I know what does men to be a bartender bcz I m , too much it’s too much I that got crazy , I complained with manager but actually it’s not the kind of environment where thay wanna take care about the guest and give a good experience , it’s more like come here , we are tired of all this shit , we are
