Not sure what owners or mgmt would hire bartenders (Sunday night 8/3) that blithely chat w whoever they knew as the bar was slammed and did that dog and pony ego show some bartenders indulge in when they see customers waiting, even as the equally slammed co-bartender was doing she could to pick up the slack, though still not on point vis-a-vie customer service either.
Impressions matter - and in my case, shilling this joint to impress my two fellow writer friends- I was left w egg on my face. Customer service always, always matters, subliminally even down the road. We left without ever getting served...

Love Jones BUT we went for a late dinner couple of days ago and the busser dropped something and he knocked over the candle and the olive oil. There was hot wax all over my bag and sweater and olive oil on my boyfriend s clothes, he even reached the booth next to us! I didn’t realized until I got home that the wax was on my clothes and handbag and I tried to email them to complain but they have no email address… Kind of annoying as it was my favorite sweater !

One of the best places in town to get a dirty martini. Delicious food and a great reverse happy hour during the week! One of my favorite go to places in town.
The staff needs training in customer service and friendliness. They all seem miserable to work there. The only that smiles is the security guard, although I witnessed him completely disregard a situation that involved an upset customer and another staff member. He seemed to only care about the staff and not the concerns of the guest. There are far too many options around LA for me to come back to this place. They clearly don’t value the guest.

The Hispanic hostess was very rude and does not know how to do her job properly. Mu boyfriend and I are regulars here so we are always understanding that there is a wait for a table however- after giving our name and waiting at the overly crowded bar for over 20min I couldn’t Help but notice 2 tables that had been empty for apprx 15min. As I went up to politely address my concern to one of the hostess, the rude Hispanic girl intervened cutting me off, stating “It will be a few minutes but we don’t know how long tables will take to get up.” So I replied “Well, you said a few minutes and now you’re saying you don’t know how long it will take..so how long will it be?” She then spitefully looked at her watch and said “Hmmm…30min!” At that point my boyfriend and I left to go to another establishment that knows how to be respectful of their guests. We will likely not come back here until this hostess leaves or gets fired.

Table was too tiny for two plates and a pizza. Waited for food a bit longer than comfortable, waiter wasn’t really friendly, but not rude. Still felt like she hasn’t tried to hide that we weren’t her priority at all. The whole room was too dark and sitting on the table for two in the middle of larger tables felt claustrophobic.
Larger tables seemed much more comfortable and if you have a big group - you getting a corner so it feels better, and you probably would be loud enough to not hear how loud the rest of the room is.
🍕Their pizza is very average.
You can try it in a large group and if you plan to get somehow drunk. Bet you’ll have a much better time! 👍 Going as a couple - not recommended.
