DON’T come to this restaurant!!! Worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. They rush you out when they’re closing and make you feel extremely uncomfortable. Bartenders have an awful attitude, one even tossed a menu at my friend when he asked for one. A busser bumped into me with his bussing bin and didn’t even flinch to apologize. I said “excuse me” and he completely disregarded me. Awful awful awful!

Old Hollywood vibes, the food and drinks were genuinely bad though, particularly the price. Feels like a tourist trap, locals avoid

Popular for a reason, this place is lively and happily buzzing. They serve solid Italian food alongside fun cocktails. The lights are intentionally dim, setting the mood, while the staff are humorous and warm. We tried the BBQ chicken pizza. It was soft, fresh, and generously topped with perfectly cooked chicken – no dry bites. The rigatoni carbonara had peas and cream doing a silky, swoon-worthy dance. The pasta felt indulgent without being heavy. The cocktail Love and Chaos lives up to its name, ginger beer with a zing. It’s noisy in the best way, with a mix of tables and cozy booths, and old-school lamps that add character. This place has the kind of vibe that makes you linger longer than planned. One of those dinners that leaves you smiling on the way out.

Comfort Italian old school clubby eatery. Opens at 7pm and fills quickly. Pastas, seafood and pizzas were best.

came here with the girlfriend for our second date and i can see why it’s one of her favorite places. it has that old school LA vibe, a place you could see in the movie “swingers,” and with some great late night food.

read the reviews and saw that the items to order were the spaghetti and meatballs (do it old school style with the parmesan cheese and garlic bread) and the apple pie. both came out in cast iron pans which definitely added flavor and texture.

the booths are suitably private enough to canoodle or snuggle but also see and be seen.

i will be back.

It can be crowded at times, but there are few places that can match the ambiance and intimacy of Jones. Protect this spot.

Went for my birthday dinner and was quite disappointed. The food and drinks were just not good. Lacking flavor, nothing made us say “mmm”. Ordered the calamari, linguine with clams, and bbq chicken pizza. Tiramisu for dessert, our mistake hoping it would be decent after a mid meal. Even the dirty martini was bad. I’m no food critic but …Don’t waste your time. I truly don’t understand how they have good reviews 😬

I visited Hollywood for the third time this year in the last week of November, that is, the whole last week, arriving from Las Vegas, where I live, as I am Italian but I work as an international luxury car dealer in Nevada in the United States. I must say that the food is quite good, I went to this place every night, except Thursday when it was closed. I also had pizza, tiramisu, etc. several times. Everything was good, but unfortunately I have to say with regret that the only people I found serious regarding the staff were only the one I think is the owner, that is, a gentleman more or less as tall as me, about 1.80 m, with glasses, who always presided over the entrance, and also most of the waiters and bartenders. Unfortunately, on the last evening, that is, last Saturday, at the entrance there was another bald man with no hair who did not have much education, as he turned to laugh for no reason in my direction, making undue confidences, etc. Secondly, the girl always at the entrance (ethnicity Portuguese) with curly hair who takes orders at the tables should learn a little respect towards people, as I noticed very well the faces he made, the behavior, looking even from afar and talking to other people nodding to me etc... Really bad situation, you need to respect the people who come to spend money in your restaurant, these things do not happen in Italy...! Finally, it must also be said that the last night the place was full of drunk and rude people. There were girls staggering around drunk who came at me several times, and in addition another tall black guy together with another who was with him (a friend) with a hat together with two girls too. They were creating chaos and disturbance to everyone, even to all the girls who passed in front of them, almost harassing them. And the security of the place was non-existent. The tall black guy was very drunk, he was shouting and swearing and he also started talking to me very vulgarly and even hugging me (like the very drunk and high person he was) ... In addition, I also heard other people who were eating in the lower part of the place who, as I passed in front of them, started making jokes about Italians, pizza, etc. Laughing for no reason and like truly low-level people...! The place is also acceptable, but there is too much rudeness and lack of respect..!

After being a regular at Jones for 8 years, our visit on November 25, 2025 was extremely uncomfortable. The host Sage met us with hostility whether we wanted a booth or the bar. He then told us we couldn’t sit at the booth for a party of three unless each person ordered an entrée, which we said we would happily do. Before seating us or offering menus, he demanded to know our order, despite one person in our group never having been to Jones before. He insisted we name exact entrées to be seated without menus!

His rude, unwelcoming behavior forced us to leave, and he followed us out. The manager Cody, dismissed our concerns without apology. As the only Asian party in the restaurant at the time, the treatment felt concerning. We’ve never experienced anything like this here, and even Swingers under the same ownership, has never shown hostility.
