We made reaervations to sit on the patio because we were told we wouldn't have to rush. We were told when seated that we would have 1 1/2 hrs to eat. Not sure why since there were open tables. We decided to order off of the happy hour menu. The food was fair. We ordered fried chicken sliders. The chicken looked and tasted like frozen chicken nuggets. The shrimp was excellent! The chicken tacos were ok, nothing special. We were not fond of the croquettes. They were not good....
We had an uncommon experience. We got a last minute reservation for our anniversary after other plans fell through. We arrived right before 11:00pm. The restaurant had only a few people still eating which I'm sure is not the typical environment. My wife thought it was romantic. They called me ahead of time and explained the kitchen closes so we would need to order after seating. The server was very professional and took our order after giving a few recommendations. La Boheme is one of my favorites! Whenever I have friends in town I make sure to book us a table. The outdoor space is so cute and a great space to make some memories over a nice dinner with friends or family.
