The nachos are spectacular, yes, if you don't like cilantro, ask for the sauces separately.
The pancakes tasted too much like dough, we didn't like them very much.
In general the food is expensive.

I only docked one star for service because they were extremely busy and it took some time, the service is fantastic and the servers are helpful and friendly. The smash burger is fantastic, definitely worth getting. Spiked milkshakes are also delicious and the iconic vintage feel really makes a special experience. I'll definitely be back

Ah, Mel’s Drive-In on the Sunset Strip—a true gem that’s been keeping LA weird and wonderful since, well, forever. Walking into Mel’s feels like stepping back in time, to a place where burgers are served with a side of nostalgia, and you half-expect to see James Dean brooding in a corner booth.

Now, I’m not saying Mel himself is back there flipping burgers and shaking up milkshakes, but if he were, I wouldn’t be surprised. The man—or should I say,...
