Loved the vibe and coffee was good. But they need to sort out the syrniki recipe - it was absolutely raw inside and this is not how it’s supposed to be, especially when you charge this much for it. Maybe other items in the menu are better but I wasn’t lucky.

If you’re missing СЫРНИКИ (syrniki), this is the place to go! Perfectly sweet and fluffy — three delicious cheese pancakes, approved by my 2-year-old.

PeopleTalk in West Hollywood — absolutely amazing!

I worked at the beauty conference where they provided the catering, and I have to say — their food was outstanding! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, specially tacos ❤️ The coffee was fantastic too — rich, smooth, and kept everyone happy and energized throughout the event.

A friend of mine also visited their restaurant for breakfast and had the same experience — delicious food and great vibes!

I can’t recommend PeopleTalk enough. Whether it’s for catering or a casual meal, they truly deliver excellence every time! 💫

always love coming here!! every visit feels like home 🥹 The SYRNYKY are absolutely delicious, and the quality is always FRESH. Huge thanks to the team for creating such a warm atmosphere and for always serving fresh and tasty food.

The baristas - they are attentive, kind, and treat every guest with care. It’s rare to find a place where you feel this comfortable every single time. Highly recommend!

We recently visited PeopleTalk for the first time, and my impressions are mixed. On the one hand, the service was excellent. The girl at the counter was so warm, kind, and genuinely attentive that it would leave no one indifferent.

I ordered a bowl, my friend had an omelet, and for dessert, we decided to try the syrniki (cheese pancakes). As you can see from the photo, they were served completely burnt. When I asked the server if this was the usual way they were prepared, she was very polite, took them back without hesitation, apologized, and brought us a replacement. Honestly, it wasn’t a huge deal for us — we probably would have eaten them anyway — but I wanted to clarify whether this was their standard presentation.

The second batch of syrniki looked fine on the outside, but when we cut into them, they were raw in the middle, as shown in the video. In terms of taste, they were okay, but of course, we couldn’t finish them. We tried a few bites and left the rest.

Overall, the food was ordinary, very classic. For an American-style breakfast, it was acceptable, but in my opinion, the prices are quite high considering the quality and execution of the dishes.

Another important downside for me personally was the smell inside the café. Since the kitchen is open, all the air is filled with cooking fumes and oil, and after visiting, it’s nearly impossible to get the smell out of your clothes and hair.

The café itself has a lot of seating, making it a good place to spend the morning working on a laptop. Many people around us were doing exactly that. Another nice touch was that we were allowed to choose any table we liked right from the start.

Would I return? Most likely not. Still, I would confidently give this place three stars. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere truly makes up for many of the food-related shortcomings. If I just wanted a cozy place to chat and enjoy the company of kind servers, I might stop by again. But if I were looking for well-prepared, flavorful food, I would probably choose a different spot.

I really wanted to like this place and was excited to come, but 19$ for 3 little syrniki is a bit too much. Plus they didn’t taste good, just ok. Coffee is also very much just ok. The atmosphere and people are nice. Cute place to grab coffee but not food.

The space is such a vibe, it reminds me of Europe. You can enjoy great food and actually connect with people here. The owner runs the place with so much passion—you feel it in the food and the service. I had the syrniki with a glass of bubbles and it was such a fun experience!

The Greek salad is absolutely must too 🔥

I'm so glad my friend told me about this place! It's not as prominent as the numerous other coffee shops on Fairfax in this neighborhood. It is small and has a nice, cozy vibe, good music, and good amount of seating.
