The restaurant design was beautiful. I would say it's like modern European and Beverly Hills chique. The service was exceptional and elegant. We decided to eat in the bar downstairs. Evelyn was superb. Her food and wine knowledge was impressive. She was the perfect ambassador of the idea and concept that is Stella's.

Food and drinks were mediocre! Ambience and chef counter were nice. However it was extremely over priced for what is was… the pistachio cake was not good

As a local who is particular about where I go (especially for a special occasion), I have to say that I am so glad that Stella West Hollywood is here! Not sure why it’s so hard to find upscale restaurants in LA that are sophisticated and cater to a nicer crowd, without being outdated or cheesy... but the options are limited. We celebrated a dear friends birthday in the private room upstairs and had drinks at the bar downstairs first. The entire restaurant was packed for dinner with an eclectic, high end clientele of guests. My friends and I commented on how dramatically different it feels in there from the original Madeo. The lighting is perfection and Janet Zuccarini and her team did a phenomenal job with the interior design / decor. This is definitely the type of place you want to go to several times and be seated in a different area each time.Favorites: The warm olives, salumi & gnocchi rolls, Branzino carpaccio, Cacio E Pepe pasta, & Pistacio Cake. They were out of Burrata so we ordered the Caviar that comes with the Burrata and did Caviar Bumps instead. Whoops!I cannot wait to return and try a few more specialty items on the menu. So many things look special on the menu, there’s no way you can have it all in just one visit! Can’t wait to return!!!

Had a beautiful experience at Stella WH! The food was delicious, staff attentive and helpful. When asking our waiter for recommendations and to explain a certain dish, squash vines, which we had never heard of, he brought the executive chef to our table with a plate showing what the squash vines look like before cooked and he explained why he chose them and what he did to them and it ended up being one of our favorite dishes of the night. Attention to detail was amazing. Well done, Stella!

I had the pleasure of dining at Stella on their first night of service and I have to say I was blown away. The design by prominent restaurant designer Wendy Hayworth is stunning with attention to detail to inspire. You feel transported to another place and time with luxury and artistry at every turn from the lighting to the vintage glasses and elegant plateware. The music really made the vibe something special including some of my unexpected and favorite early 2000s r&b jams. The right music can take the vibe to a 10- and this was it for us!Now on to the food and drinks, every dish impressed us with it's fresh high quality ingredients, beautiful and creative presentation and plating , and delicious robust flavors. Chef Rob Gentile is indeed a star with incredible attention to detail in all of this dishes. My favorite in experiential presentation and taste was the tableside carved branzino carpaccio. The Salmon was a close second. As simple as it was the citrus salad was divine too! To top it off, as a very Italian restaurant you never know, but they happily accommodated my gluten free and dairy free dietary restrictions :) Their cocktails were beautiful and well balanced. This would be a spectacular place for a private event or private dining from the patio to the two private dining rooms and giant bars and captivating spaces on two levels- I can't wait to bring back friends and clients and entertain here. The service was exceptional. It was not pretentious, very warm welcoming and fun with the utmost VIP hospitality. Stella was exceptional and the experience was worth the price- you must celebrate here!!

An incredible dining experience from restaurateur Janet Zuccarini and chef Rob Gentile. Standout dishes for me were the Carpaccio di Bronzino (which is hand carved at the table and beautifully plated), the most tender Iberico Pork Pluma, and Pizza all Romana — thin crust with perfect sauce and scissors to slice. The service is meticulous without feeling formal and the vibe is chic, contemporary and sexy thanks to designer Wendy Haworth. Bravo!

Had an amazing dinner at Stella’s! Every dish from the appetizers to the desserts was perfection. The pasta tasted like it was made fresh in-house, and the flavors were just incredible. The staff made us feel so welcome, adding to the whole experience. It’s clear they put a lot of love into their food and service. Can’t wait to go back!

By far, this was the most memorable meal so far this year. The chef's negroni was delectable, made more interesting by the pinch of cacao resting atop the ice cube. The bruschetta was simple and fresh from the grill with charred cherry tomatoes and basil resting atop grilled housemade bread. The star of the evening, though, was the pork pluma. Even as a child of the south who was weaned on pulled pork barbecue, this was the single best piece of pork I've ever eaten. This gorgeous piece of Ibérico pork was grilled for just a few moments and brushed with fresh herbs for a tender, succulent dish that was worlds away from any pork I've ever tasted before. Needless to say, we'll be back.

Superb redo of the old Madeo space, visually stunning on two levels (I liked the downstairs better and that is where the open kitchen is), excellent service, and delicious and innovative Italian food. The Iberico pork pluma was a highlight.

Stella just opened in a new building on Beverly Blvd. in the space held for many years by Madeo. We were warmly greeted by at least four hostesses and the apparent manager before being escorted to a very pleasant booth in one of the rooms. The décor is modern but lacking in character. Our wait person had personality and was knowledgeable. When we ordered drinks, much to our dismay, we learned that the bar had only three brands of Scotch whisky. Not good for a supposedly exciting new restaurant in Los Angeles. With our drinks we ordered Nodini—little bread balls with olive oil, garlic, and rosemary. They were bland. Next, the Agrumi Misti salad was refreshing with just the right amount of fennel. We followed this with Strozzapreti Cacio e Pepe. The flavor was perfect, but the pasta was too doughy. Our main course was the Iberico Pluma Porchetta and this was perfectly prepared and delicious. To accompany this, we had Carciofi alla Romana which I found rather dull. A fine bottle of Barolo made up for any shortcomings in the menu. Dessert was Tiramisu presented by the baker and it was excellent. When we left the restaurant, the valet charged us $27.00 because we were over the two-hour time limit, and he did not take cash but only credit cards. The charge for valet parking is far too high, especially on this stretch of Beverly Blvd. where it is very quiet, and finding a space on the street should not be a problem. Overall, Stella's star is not shining brightly right now but perhaps this was because it was the first week of operation. There is much potential.
