I wouldn't return unless others wanted to come. I like the setting, however, the music and band was so loud you couldn't hear table conversations and were forced to lean in. We weren't even seated close to the band. The risotto squash appetizer was a complete disappointment and not worth its value. The halibut was salty and the coconut broth wasn't anything special. I will say the calamari, fries and bread pudding were delicious.
Although this has been one of my favorite places for several years, last night did not make for a happy birthday meal. 1. My companion ordered the duck breast which, disappointingly, was inedible! So tough and rubbery we had to exchange it for the Kona fish (which was delicious), but took wait time so we weren't able to eat at the same time. 2. It was raining, so they seated us inside instead of on their delightful patio where I've always sat before. The big room is quite noisy, but was made many times worse by a trio that played so loudly we could not converse at all. We ended up texting each other during the entire meal!! And they charged us $10 extra for this. So, instead of feeling pleased I had given my friend a nice birthday outing, I was embarrassed for having chosen this place.

Everything we ordered were delicious. The wagyu beef spaghetti was bomb. I wish they didn't remove the sole dover on the menu coz that's one of our fave! The baked alaska and the chocolate pudding were so good too. BAILEY, our waiter is the absolute best! Very attentive.

I booked for two but I got here by myself in the end after a failed evening, people are disappointing in LA. The staff went over and beyond to seat me, gave me a big comfy couch table by myself and made sure I still get the late happy hour menu. Great service and food, ambience was as good as it could get for me given the circumstance. Appreciated and will come back in happier occasions with people who deserve it. Cheers!

We have dined at La Boheme multiple times. However our experience yesterday was a memorable one but for the wrong reason. Our server Ana completely ignored us. She went around our table several times completely ignoring us. She served other tables that arrived after our reservation. It took us 20 minutes to just get water. I don't know if this a "race" issue. Her service level was beyond mediocre. If it wasn't for your amazing food and cocktails. I probably would given this review a one star. We will still continue dining at La Boheme. I just hope we don't get Ana again.

A beautiful restaurant that provides great atmosphere and entertainment (we caught one of the burlesque shows) with a nice if not a tad loud live band! Food was tasty and great drinks. Made my romantic dinner a memory to hold on to!

Place is fantastic both interior place as well as exterior. Saturday night included jazz and cabaret inside - very loud, so not great for conversations, however a lit if fun. Food is decent, service friendly. Birthday celebration includes large sparkle like show, total fun. Overall, great place to go.
Been to a lot of places in the area. First time there this weekend and it was amazing. Our server was Patrick and he literally was the nicest and best server I've ever had. We decided that we will call every server her have from here on out Patrick. He definitely took care of us. Will definitely be back for the bottomless mimosas. And great job Patrick! You guys keep up the great work!

The food is always great, the service has been poor the last three times we have dined there. It is not helpful when you complain that the service is not good and the waiter replies "I know." Worse, the manager comps a drink and dessert and the service continues to remain abysmal.

The steak sushi, though tasty, the crisp rice wasn't evenly crisp. Makes me think steamed rice would have been better. As for service, everyone seemed rushed, not able to anticipate diners' needs, like attending to heaters, delivering drinks at the same time (why deliver at separate times?), pick up on the conversation,.... As for the value, charging a 3% "kitchenluv" fee was a laugh. Like that streak sushi? Four pieces may sound generous, but smaller than petit fours! For $17? A slightly larger size (more like the size of regular sushi) for $20 would have been better value.

I booked La Boheme to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a pretty poor service experience. I do not plan to revisit. We arrived at 7:50, a little early for our reservation at 8, but were seated immediately. When the waiter first came, we ordered drinks and an appetizer. Then on the second visit, placed our main dish orders. Our drinks and appetizer came out no issue. However, our main meals did not arrive until right after 9:30 pm. During the gap in time, our waiter barely checked on us, and we noticed others who arrived after us had received and finished their food during that time. Only when we flagged them down did the waiter actually say "hey I don't know what's happening with your food." We then asked to speak to a manager who said they would "take care of us". Ultimately, we ended up with 2 free drinks and free desert. While the food was AMAZING (very very good), I will never return due to the poor service and limited acknowledgement as to why the experience was so bad.

This resturant exceeded my expectations, from the food to the entertainment. The Salmon and Halibut was a 10/10. I would definitely recommend visiting this resturant. Make sure you sit inside so you can see the show. Can't wait to return!
