Outstanding service, delicious food, low-key, quiet. Looking at what everyone was eating, going back to try more dishes. The patio is so pretty, and if it weren't for the Design Center building acrosss the road, we could have been in Greece! LOVED IT :)

Really enjoyed the food, very good quality steak frites and drinks and crispy rice appetizer. Love this place and hope they remain on InKind

Terrible!!!! We went to celebrate a birthday. There was nine of us we ordered a vegetarian lasagne which was completely black and burnt on the bottom. When I called the waitress over she said that's how it's supposed to be three of the guest ordered muscles two of them were ok but one was cold, again when we asked the waitress if it could be changed because it wasn't hot enough she said that's how they all come out and because we had 3 muscle dishes one could not be cold. I told her that it had to be changed so she reluctantly took it away only to bring it back a few minutes later so they had obviously just reheated it in the microwave!!! The guest felt very uncomfortable eating re-heated muscles so she didn't eat them and shared a meal with another of our guests. Our reservation was at 8pm and at 8.10pm we were told that if we wanted any more food from the kitchen we needed to order it as the kitchen was closing but I see on OpenTable they actually close at 12am!!! Our tables were not cleared in between the courses we had to stack our own plates on the table adjacent to us staff never really returned to check if we needed anything so I had to go inside and complain. They then changed our waitress to a waiter who was much better but it had spoilt the birthday celebration by that time.

All great except super uncomfortable high top stools and that's always where they sit me with a reservation.

Myself and two friends walked in—based on what we were wearing (all black, coming from an event) I think the manager assumed we were also service workers. And he certainly treated us as such. The hostess told us we could order happy hour tapas to go at the bar. When we tried to order with the manager behind the bar, he lectured us on how improper it is to order “sides to go”…even though it was at the direction of their hostess that we order tapas to go at the bar. He was super rude and basically threw the food at us…and treated the people next to us completely differently. So classist, presumptuous and strange.

Service was mediocre, food was okay. Don't ask if it's for a special occasion if you aren't even going to do anything regarding the occasion. Our waitress seemed annoyed since we first got there, maybe was having a bad day.

Went for Brunch.
The matcha was super light green, could barely taste it, had to ask for it to be made stronger.
Server seemed very confused picking up our order, must've been new. My friend's quiche arrived 20min after we already had our food.
Food tasted good.

The server was not nice. The latte cup came with lipstick marks on it. They wouldn't give us another heater. The food was ok. Vary very expensive.

Welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The staff is consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making each visit special. The menu is thoughtfully curated, with dishes that are both flavorful and beautifully presented. Personal favorites include the le bowl with Ahi Tuna and tartines – each bite is a perfect blend of quality ingredients and creative flavors. Despite the occasional parking challenge, it's always worth the visit. Whether you're there for a casual lunch, a special dinner, or a girls brunch, the experience never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a consistently delightful meal.

Fun dining neighbor of AncientModerne directly across Melrose/WestHollywood from the PDC.
Great SecretSauce burger & salad.
And of course pairs comfortably with LaVeuveDuVernay bubbles!

Decent place but super casual. I had to order at the counter and also pick up my own drinks at the counter, for a decent price point they charge and the recommended 20%+ tips. For that I can go to a coffee shop that serves food.

Dining out should be an experience—one where service, food, and atmosphere come together to create something enjoyable. Unfortunately, our visit to Zinque was the opposite. From start to finish, it felt like an afterthought, and at no point did we feel like valued guests.

We opted for the tasting menu, expecting a well-paced and curated experience. Instead, it was a disaster. Our server was barely present, forcing us to flag down another (much kinder) server just to get any attention. The food arrived underseasoned, undercooked, and without plates. When the food runner brought our entrées, he simply stood there in silence, waiting for us to clear the table ourselves. When I picked up an empty plate to help, he threw the dishes down with force and walked off. I had to call him back just to ask if he could take the empty plate from my hand—he huffed, grabbed it, and left the rest of our dirty dishes behind. With no other option, we moved them to the empty table next to us, where they sat untouched for 25 minutes.

At that point, we had seen enough. Rather than continue through the full tasting menu—including dessert—we chose to cut our losses, pay, and leave. That’s how bad it was.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience warranted it. Every restaurant has an off night, but this felt systemic. I hope Zinque takes this as an opportunity to re-evaluate, because the potential is there—but right now, it’s a mess.
