“Having lived in Sacramento almost my whole life I've past by this place a thousand times, decided to finally try it the other day. The restaurant itself is very nice and the atmosphere is very inviting. The staff and service is top notch. The food was good, fairly limited selection. I had the cheese ravioli with red sauce and a meatball on the side, which was well prepared and good. I think maybe I picked too basic of a dish and wasn't really wowed by it. I'll be back and try the lobster ravioli next time. All the mains include a scoop of serbert ice cream which I will say was the star of the whole show. Cool Sacramento restaurant and I can see why it's stood the test of time.“

“Let me preface this by saying— I love a good, old fashioned dive bar. This one is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area! On a Saturday night when we went, there were quite a few people from all demographics. Service was quick and friendly, with personable bartenders. The drinks were relatively inexpensive, poured correctly, and variety was plentiful. The atmosphere was great— one of those quintessential neighborhood bar types— lots of memorabilia on the walls and it felt very homey. The regulars were friendly and talkative. Bathrooms were clean. Music was good. We went with a group of a dozen friends and had a blast! We will be back, for sure.“

Purchased it and Created The Game-Room Richard Was Always Hospitable Which Was Like A Tradition Of Sorts, Many Many Good Friends That Have Passed That Just Happened To Be There To Have Had That Unfortunate Unknowingly Last Drink With, By Itself A Blessing, The Sacramento Bee Had A Two Page Story On Charlie Back In The Day And His Contribution To Making The Colonial and Tower Theaters What They Became, Shout Out To My Cousins Who Have Had A Business There Since Before Even Milanos Pizza And When Group 3 Was Started If I Remember right, Fred’s Corner Store On Thee Way To HJHS 84’ Alumni from Lawrence Park to Tahoe Park, East Portal Park To Land Park, Discovery Park, We Run in Certain Circles knowingly or unknowingly, but we’ve all crossed paths and we’ve all frequented these Neighborhood Joints That Deliver The Ambience, Vibe, Mood, Atmosphere, Energy, etc. And Anytime I Show Up, I Know Somebody, Thats Through My Eyes Since My First Visit In 1987 Turning 21.
Not To Mention My Appreciation Ti The Current Owners Fir Keeping It Neighborly, Knowing Tgey Were Customers Before Iwners Like I Know Charlie Would Have a Gal Drive Him Down To The Tallac In A Golf-cart To Turn The Tallac Lights On When Mike Owned It Per Their Agreement.“

“Pleasantly surprised with UoB! This was my first visit which was a retirement party for a coworker and this place was bustling! UoB staff greeted us, took orders promptly and efficiently, everything was delicious and correct, the vibes were really fun & I loved the semi private outdoor seating(trees/landscaping were blocking the public’s view). There was at least 50 of us at the party and another non related party occurred on the other side of the restaurant so I think it’s safe to say call to reserve seats/tables if you’d like to celebrate here. It’s not super large but I love the size of this establishment because it’s comfortable. I’ve been looking for more places that don’t break the bank while socializing and this is definitely one! The happy hour prices were amazing too! $10 for a smoking Old Fashioned, Raspberry Lemon Drops, Margaritas, food and more. And plus, regularly priced, those drinks were only a few dollars more so while happy hour was awesome, I won’t let that be the only time I come. This is one of those affordable places you can go to anytime. We thoroughly enjoyed the crab sandwich, the show for my husbands Old Fashioned and the positive vibes from Shift Lead On Y. She was awesome, her team was awesome, we had a lot of fun & we will be back! Bathrooms were super clean too! Thank you!“

“Breakfast was really good. Eggs were cooked perfect for me and tots were golden brown and didn’t taste like old fryer oil. cool neighborhood joint in east Sacramento. The new owners are doing good things to the place. Place was getting busy by the time we left. Mixed crowd with good vibes. Nice outside patio area as well :) I think they had every game on they could. LOTS of TV’s……. Will be back for sure.“

“Have only been here once after walking by so many times but will be back! Came on a Thursday afternoon and they had trivia night! My friend and I had their apple cider and I had the pineapple cider, both delicious but I liked the pineapple one more! It was sweeter and fruitier.

The bar is very nice, seating at the bar, tables, outside in the back and in the front. There’s a decent amount of seating and it was packed when we came. Service was great, staff were nice, and the energy was great. I’d want to come to try some of their food options and spend some more time enjoying the space.“

“When I first went to Fire Taproom, I was truly amazed. The atmosphere, including the workers, were extremely friendly. The food I ordered (the Classic Burger) was absolutely delicious. My kids ordered the Chicken Tenders and wouldn't stop telling me about how much they loved it. My husband ordered the FTR Chicken Sandwich and really liked it. The fries were also amazingly seasoned, unlike any other restaurant I have been to before. The place was truly amazing, and I can't wait to come again.“

A dozen of yummy oysters and the bomb is the stir fry clams in garlic flavor we ordered it again because it was real fresh and good . I don't regret paying a lot of this is the food serve , very delicious I was just worried because I eat a lot 🤣🤣. Costumer service was exceptional . “Have been here a couple of times and it’s been good experiences so far. When I first tried coming here it was very empty and slow, but after that the next few times it was busy! This seems like a very popular place with younger (not fresh 21 year olds) but mid 20s and above crowds. There’s definitely regulars that come and the bartenders are really cool.

They have obviously bar seating, some high top tables, and a few pool tables you can play at. They have a lot of different beers on tap and I like the cider options here. It’s a very chill bar, not super “dive-y”, very lively and has a great upbeat energy on even week nights. There’s a medium sized parking lot in the back and street parking. It’s not a go to place for me but I definitely recommend if you don’t want to go to a club but want something more fun.“

“First of all the barbecued chicken with rice and macaroni salad has no sauce on it, they give you one small sauce and i mean small. So I always ask for extra sauce and I am willing to pay for it. The only time I actually got the one extra sauce was because I was on them about it and they were about to forget it that time as well. I dont know whats up with them and their sauce. Is it expensive to make ornate they in short supply I mean c'mon already. If I could clear up the sauce thing. I would gladly give 5 stars because everything outside of the sauce problem, everything is great.“

“Applebee’s absolutely knocked it out of the park tonight! We sat at the bar and were greeted with a smile and outstanding service from Paula (I hope I got her name right). She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. It’s refreshing to have a server who genuinely seems to enjoy taking care of her customers. We were told she’s from another Applebee’s location, and I sincerely hope she makes her way to this restaurant permanently because she’s a tremendous asset to the team.

“Went here before a show at the Crest Theater. The food was very flavorful, the pizza was from a wood fire oven, the burger was juicy with a soft, fresh bun, and the fries were just the right crispyness without being oily. Even enjoyed the kimchi even though I'm generally not the biggest fan. Plus the staff was extremely friendly. Talked with the owners some and guess they just opened up in September. Overall a great experience and recommend checking this place out.“
