honestly im still thinking about the ice cream i had here last week. the texture was so smooth and creamy, not icy at all which i hate. i got the chocolate peanut butter cup and it had huge chunks of peanut butter cups in it. my friend had the strawberry and it actually tasted like real fruit not syrup. the guy working was super patient while we took forever to decide. the scoop sizes are generous, definitely worth the price. already planning when i can go back.
Amazing ice cream!
This ice cream shop is a total gem! The flavors are amazing, and they even have vegan options. I can't get enough of the salted caramel—so rich and creamy. Highly recommend stopping by!
Very nice, attentive staff, wonderful flavors and cozy vibe.
Our favorite local ice cream. Always good and they are friendly and care about their customers
Very rich lemon squares and good ice cream
Scott was very welcoming and friendly. The salted caramel affogato was 10/10
I really wanted to like this place but the quality of the ice cream just isn’t that good. Would get better quality at the grocery store mid tier and up
This has got to be one of the best ice creams I've ever tasted... And I'm an ice cream snob. Afters, Salt & Straw, Jeni's, Wanderlust - those are my go-to's.
I love unique flavors - balsamic and goat cheese? Olive oil? Jalapeno chocolate? Say no more, I'm there.
Little Calf's ice creams are thick yet light (fluffy? But not too airy). Love this texture more than any other ice cream shop's. Second, it's not too sweet. Third, they pack it on! I felt given the amount of ice cream, it was a good price point. It was so good that after I bought a cup to eat in the store, I bought 4 more points to take home (!!).
So far I've found their dairy free flavors to be more satisfying to my palette than their regular flavors. I had the Moorpark Road but I wish there was more stuff inside like Rocky Road. It also got a little monotonous at the end, but the chocolate had a depth to it that was excellent.
I loved the soursop flavor and it's not usually something I see, so I had to snatch up a few pints of that one as it's seasonal. The lemon basil, while quite tart, is very refreshing so I also got a pint of that for a hot day.
The girl at the counter is super lovely and I was able to sample all that I wanted.
Even though I'm in OC, I would make a day trip and drive out here to buy more pints! It would depend on what seasonal flavors they have next but I hope it's either fruit based or floral and unique!
My fiancé and I came across this shop just by chance after stopping in Thousand Oaks on a road trip. Some of the creamiest and most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had, and for a very reasonable price! Would highly recommend.

If you have not tried Little Calf Creamery's ice cream you DEFINITELY need to! They make their own ice cream right in their shop, and it is DELICIOUS! We just had the owner, Scott, cater a party we threw for 70 people. He brought his mobile ice cream cart and served ice cream sundaes to all of our guests. We got to choose 4 different flavors to offer, along with a variety of toppings, as well as hot fudge, hot caramel and whipped cream. All of our guests were raving about how good it was. They said it was the best ice cream they have ever had! It has the perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness. My favorite is the Milk and Cookies, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the flavors! We will definitely be heading back to the shop soon to try the new seasonal flavors, and will definitely be bringing Scott back to cater our next party!
First time here to get something cold and refreshing for the hot weather. I chose lavender blueberry and coffee to sample and decided right then and there I must have a split scoop of these two in a cup! I must say it was amazing and delicious. Very smooth and creamy and not too sweet. I can tell you if you want something really beautiful and sophisticated, try the lavender blueberry. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to France! Excellent customer service too with nice benches inside and out to sit and enjoy. 👌🏼
Cute ice cream shop, love the cow aesthetic. Cold brew is served in a bottle.
You can't beat this shop's ice cream creations! We had the super cookie sandwich (two cookies, scoop of ice cream, chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough and whipped cream) and the coffee float. It's not for everyday consumption 😂 but great for a holiday!
Ample parking. Love the outdoor seating options.
Best ice cream, recommend the coffee flavor
