Excellent food and service. I had the salmon wrapped in crunchy potatoes. The portion was so large that I could not finish it. The branzino was also excellent. It was worth the drive to visit this restaurant.

You can’t say enough good things about Rustico. The staff, the food the ambience is all top-notch for this quiet Oak Park Neighbourhood. This is my girlfriend and is our favorite place to eat in the area. Highly recommended.

Nice Italian restaurant with lots of standards but also a bunch of specials. Sure they'll do a nice steak here, but that's not why you'd go here. Go for things like breaded pork chop with tomato and smoked mozzarella, or lamb ragu and pappardelle, or something fun.

At Rustico Il Restorante, they certainly know how to take care of the ladies! Amazing food and deserts so yummy! We had one of each! Thank you to the chef, the servers and the beautiful atmosphere!

For as packed as it was, it wasn't as noisy as you'd expect. The food was exceptional, the waiter was amazing (although he had no personality) - he had the entire menu memorized!
The Manhattan was weak and the barware uncomfortable to hold. So I would give the bar 3 1/2 stars. But everything else was very good. Was it worth the drive from Tarzana? Probably only if you are someone that has to try a new Italian place. Would I go back? Not if I was buying. The prices are way too high for what it is. $60 for sea bass in an Oak Park shopping center? Nah...
