“Man, next to Gallo Giro, the place makes one of the fattest Cuban Tortas I've ever had. The place is clean, there's seating outside and inside. Can't speak of the bathroom because I didn't use it. The front counter was being ran by two young ladies, that were very smiley, polite, and professional. They have all kinds of foods, drinks, flavored waters, juices, and the food was relatively fast, very very tasteful. My way of seeing things is, if the food is tasteful, well flavored, I don't mind paying a higher price than usual, but this one was $16 and it comes w/soda, salsas and chips. I just found this place so I can't speak on the rest of the dishes, but that Cuban Torta make you wanna slap yo mama!! They also have cocktails. Ceviche, burritos(big mutha f*@$). Their red sauce is incredible.The place is super clean. Alot of parking, tables outside. Great eating place. Next to El Gallo Giro this place makes the best Torta Cubana, I've tried. 2 types of meat, 2 typed of ham, cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, jalapeño, It's freaking bomb!!.“

“Probably one of the best souffle pancakes I've had recently. The cashier could use some lessons in speaking up. When your store music speakers are positioned too close to the register, you need to speak up. Ordering was a bit of a hassle. Cashier didn't seem to understand what we're were trying to order or was able to answer basic questions about the drinks.

Also, don't make choices for the customer. I wanted to put my number in for their rewards program, but the cashier bypassed it. Then when I wanted to get a receipt, once again the cashier made the decision for me, and prevented me from making the selection. And had to redo it. It was just inefficient and frustrating.“

“Delicious Acai bowls. If you are curious about different flavors, they’ll let you try it, like at an ice cream shop.

I wish they had smoothies, but I was still happy with my bowl. The fruit was really fresh and perfectly ripe and flavorful.

The customer service was 10/10. The guy making my bowl was so patient with all my questions and so nice the whole time.

I love that they’re open late! I often want something fresh and fruity late at night, but it’s hard to find options for smoothies or fresh fruit past 9pm.

Being connected with Nguyen’s Kitchen, you can get something from each place. Great option for groups! Although it is a bit strange to smell onions and garlic while you eat a bowl of fruit ?“

“Parking: No free parking. They’re located near a lot with parking spots that have 1 hour free parking. I parked in the public structure for $8 per hour with the first 2 hours being free with validation. Don’t lose your parking ticket!

Ambiance/Environment: This spot is located in Pacific City. They’re on the first floor, around the corner of Peet’s Coffee. Very clean and open inside. There’s only 2 tables for indoor seating. No outdoor seating of their own, but there are benches outside.

Service: Shout out to Sarai! She was cashiering and doing orders by herself. Very knowledgeable about the menu, quick, and efficient.

What we ordered: I ordered a Works size (16 oz) of The Original bowl with açaí, granola, peanut butter, banana, and added chia pudding. My partner built his own bowl with açaí, granola, cacao nibs, chia pudding, whey protein (mixed in), banana, blueberry, Goji berry, and almonds in The Oak size (24 oz). We both LOVED our bowls! All ingredients were cold and fresh! Their açaí isn’t too sweet or too thick; just perfect. My fav part was also their creamy peanut butter!

I also ordered a smoothie. I got the PB & Jam. It tasted delicious and refreshing, though I wished it had more of the peanut butter flavor.

Pricing: Yes, their prices are $$$. But let me tell you, it’s definitely worth it!“

Parking: They’re located in a large plaza. Plenty of free parking and easy to find.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of seating. There’s plenty of room to move around. I liked the decor on the walls.

Service: Shout out to our cashier Gabriel! He was knowledgeable about the menu, sizes and offerings, and gave us good recommendations. There were only 2 workers when we visited. They were quick and efficient.

Drinks: There were sooo many drinks! They also offer special deals depending on the day!

1) Cali Gurl - All drinks sounded delicious, and as tempting it was to order everything, I went with this drink. This included peach mango protein punch and collagen. The fruit flavor definitely came through. The protein didn’t overpower the peach or mango, but you can still taste it. This was really refreshing!

2) Mint Green Protein Shake - My bf ordered this with 36G of protein. It was really hard to choose bc all their shakes sound so good. This tasted as expected. Mint chocolate chip with Oreos. The texture surprisingly wasn’t too chalky. The protein blended well with the drink!

Pricing: Definitely worth the prices! Not too expensive $. Their portions are generous, especially for healthy drinks. They offer different deals each day. I received 10% off my drink bc they were offering 10% off Tea Bombs on Fridays.“
