Sweet ~
yummy!!
I really like this place! I ordered the special Che and found it was packed full of goodness! The young lady at the counter was so very sweet and helpful! I definitely be back. Thank you!
Got the 5 cakes sampler(Palm Sugar, Pandan Layers, Mung Bean, Cassava, Taro) and the Che Dac Biet House Special dessert. Everything was very good.
Good but not great and definitely overpriced
It is delicious & addictive (even when you desire less sugar). I don’t live in CA, but I come to visit my adult children often. This dessert was “introduced” to me by my daughter’s Vietnamese friend and I can eat 2 or 3 of these desserts in a day or two. I don’t eat bobba anymore. Now, the only reason I am giving it a four stars is because of the ridiculous long line no matter what time of the day you come or of you order in-store or online - it’s nothing against them (the staff are efficient), but it’s just SOOOOO popular and parking is an issue.
Love this place! V was the sweetest cashier!
Spacious store where you can sit and talk with friends. Che is ok. Worth trying and revisit.
If you are looking for the ultimate Salted Egg Sponge Cake (Bông Lan Trứng Muối) or Vietnamese Cheesecake, Bake n Che is the place to go!
The cake is incredibly fluffy and light, perfectly balanced by the savory salted egg yolk, creamy cheese sauce, and dried shredded pork on top. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and savory that isn't too heavy. Everything is packaged beautifully and tastes extremely fresh. It's a must-stop every time I'm in Bolsa!
Bake & Che is pretty good! The taste is authentic and light, making a nice dessert. However, I came and tried to order the Flan Cheesecake, but they were all sold out. I instead got the Pandan Flan Cheesecake, which is still pretty good. Highly recommend coming early when they have lots of the desserts that you want in stock.

Ordering online tends to be faster. House special and Avocado jelly are very good.
Such a great dessert spot! We got the pandan grass jelly che and a pandan coconut jelly and both we excellent!
Love it
I love their sample box and house special with little sugar.
My family and I drove from SD to LA today and ended our day at one of our favorite dessert places. We arrived at 5:40 and it wasn’t very busy at all, which was nice because it’s usually crowded and a long wait. We ordered 3 desserts and 1 drink and sat inside to wait for our order. After a bit, we heard the team calling numbers for people to pick up their orders, but ours is not called. We decided to give them more time, thinking maybe it’s taking longer because our order might be larger than others. After waiting a total of 30 minutes, I decided to go ask them at the counter. When I showed the cherista my receipt and told him we have been waiting for 30 minutes, he grabs a bag from his station and hands it to me then walks away. It seemed like my order had been ready beforehand and the team neglected to let us know. I also dislike the fact that he didn’t acknowledge how long we waited with “sorry for the wait” or “ thank you for waiting” or “ hope you enjoy “ or “have a good one.” I understand the restaurant is busy and I actually applaud them for running a successful business, but practicing courtesy matters too. In my opinion, the food can be delicious but I wouldn’t return to a restaurant if their customer service is lacking. I’m not sure I would return after today’s experience. Surely their desserts are good, but I don’t think they’re worth the commute plus price, wait time, and lack of courtesy. If you decide to stop by Bake and Che, I’m excited for you to try their desserts because I love that Vietnamese cuisine is becoming more mainstream now, but be prepared to wait for it (longer than you’d expect). Maybe bring a board game to play or dinner to eat before dessert. Perhaps order online and pay in store, in case they don’t tell you when your order is ready.
