My Hiep Bakery is known to be Orange County's #1 Mooncake Bakery. I was gifted some of these wonderful treats for the Lunar New Year. I don't know too much of the history but am thankful for friends who extend this tradition so that we can experience and celebrate with them.

The one I tried was a Mung Bean with 1 Egg (#11 mooncake). It was really good!

I'm not really a moon cake person. The moon cakes here are huge. There is a large variety. The moon cakes were pricey, but it was worth the try. Now, the other items here are the hidden gems. Very inexpensive and delicious. My family liked the egg custard, the fried rice, and the ball pastries.

Talking about Banh Trung Thu My Hiep Bakery. In the past 20 years, I have only ordered from MH. AAAA and coconut are my favorites. But I just find out a few days ago, it only cost me $42 for a box of 4 (AAAA) in Hawaii and online order will cost me $74 ( $15.75 x4 + $11 shipping )😂.what a big difference. I'm a little disappointed
